Logement situĂ© sur une rue achalandĂ©e, au 3e Ă©tage d’un immeuble avec ascenseur disponible pour nos bagages trop lourds. Restos, Ă©picerie, MĂ©tro Ă  proximitĂ©, distance de marche du vieux Porto en descente pour s’y rendre mais n’oubliez pas qu’il faut remonter Ă  la fin de la journĂ©e!! Stationnements payants disponibles Ă  proximitĂ© pour la voiture. Les photos de l’appartement sont trĂšs reprĂ©sentatives. Super propre et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ© pour y passer un long sĂ©jour. Es gibt einen Supermarkt direkt gegenĂŒber und ein Parkhaus wenige Meter entfernt (20 pro Tag). Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber und entspricht der Beschreibung ( mit der Ausnahme, dass kein Wasserkocher vorhanden ist). Die Lage ist auch gĂŒnstig: man kann die Altstadt zu Fuß erreichen oder mit Metro (gelbe Linie, Haltestelle Marques) oder mit Bus ( Linie 703). Da wir außerdem Superwetter hatten, war unser 4-tĂ€giger Aufenthalt ein wunderschönes Erlebnis.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but it didn't come without issues. We tried several times to connect by phone with Gabriel to assist in accessing the unit because the street door would not open for us. We did exactly how the instructions we given - "Press 2nd floor DRT button, then slide mobile phone button to open door from our phone. We tried about 20 times and it did not work at all. We were then accused Gabriel that we were not doing it right. We again tried to connect Gabriel by phone to speak with us. He never did call but kept sending texts by Whatsapp. Had the neighbours not let us in, we'd have to spend the night on the street. We eventually discovered on our own that we had to "SLIDE THE MOBILE APPT BUTTON FIRST, THEN PRESS 2nd FLR DRT BUTTON. We are extremely disappointed with Gabriel's responses and accusations that WE were the problem. I explained the new access instructions to Gabriel who did not even acknowledge nor apologize to us.

This apartment was truly well represented on VRBO. It was our home for 5 nights and it was a pleasure to come back to at the end of our days. The style and sense of artistry is evident in every room. The apartment: 5 stars – It is absolutely lovely and in a terrific location. The art and furnishings are tasteful and charming and you will enjoy staying here.A few nitpicks: It can be a bit tricky using the app to get in at the front door. Only one of us (the main communicant with the host) was able to do so and we had to "buzz in" the others of our party who had gone for a walk.Be sure to buy yourself some Nespresso pods!

Perfect Little Spot

The apartment was as advertised. Cute and cozy, but still plenty of room so you don't feel crowded. It was really nice to have the two good sized rooms, comfortable beds and added bonus of two full baths with three adults staying there. It is on a pretty busy street, so there is a bit of noise from cars that makes its way into the rooms at night, but not too bad.We were just a few blocks from where all the activities (food and shopping) were which was really nice, especially since we did not have a car. Gabriel was very responsive and the check-in process was straight forward. Only thing to be aware of is going up the stairs to the apartment is dark and there are no motion sensors to kick in the lights. You will need to locate them on the wall as you make your way up. Oh, one last tip. If you are a coffee drinker, make sure to buy pods for the Nespresso machine.This spot made our stay in Porto very enjoyable!

Beautiful large apartment

The apartment was beautiful.... Two very big bedrooms with bathrooms, both of which had wonderful showers. There was also another bathroom by the living room. The apartment was also very nicely decorated and had all amenities. The host was super helpful and responded quickly to our messages. There was also a nice grocery store across the street, some great cafes and restaurants nearby.

Friend trip

We loved the apartment which felt warm and welcoming. Using an Uber within Porto was easy for places that we could not go to on foot. Easy access to food and groceries on the same street. Nice area to walk around and a park nearby. The only issue was the electronic access to the building, which we worked around to manage it. The host was aware of our issue and communicated to us - despite that we would book again:)
