An Unforgettable Stay at Hard Rock Hotel Puerto Vallarta! We just returned from an amazing week at the Hard Rock Hotel Puerto Vallarta, and we can’t stop raving about our experience from May 9–17, 2025. From the moment we arrived, Liz at check-in made us feel like true VIPs with her warm welcome and smooth check-in process. Dining was a true highlight—Esmeralda, Adrian El Chaka, Lulu, Eleazar, Maverick, and Janeth at Ipanema restaurant created an exceptional experience every time we dined there. Their attention to detail and friendly service made each meal memorable. At Ciao restaurant, Scarlett greeted us with a smile every morning, and Moises took such great care of us during our meals. Over at Zen, Brian and Alberto impressed us with their professionalism and knowledge of the menu. Alma, the masseuse at the spa, provided one of the most relaxing massages we’ve ever had—an absolute must if you’re staying here. Whether it was Rodriguez at the Market Buffet keeping our drinks full, Charlie helping with towels by the pool, or Kevin managing our luggage with ease, every staff member made us feel welcome and appreciated. Johan at check-out ensured our departure was as smooth and pleasant as our arrival. This resort is beautiful, the food is incredible, and the people truly make the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

I liked the location; this is a rundown old hotel that needs lots of work. the front and back of the house are somewhat rude and a few employees were outstanding and cared that you were actually there. The staff often stood around and spoke amongst themselves while guests waiting... Food was par, but mostly the dirty glass, pool concrete and the overall use of utensils had to really clean myself before eating

For the all inclusive eating we never ran into issues with getting a seat but we did tend to eat a little earlier than everyone else it seemed which probably helped. The staff were very helpful and really wanted to make sure you were having a good time. Go to the free concerts/music events and hit up the Sun Bar for evening events. The city tour\tequila tasting was nice but was a long day of driving around so make sure to bring a water bottle. Overall a great experience and will definitely be looking to stay again.

I liked the service, the food options, the activities, the teen's club, and some of the shows. I didn't like their pool it needs a lot of cleaning and or work. Also all lounge chairs around the pool area are always "taken" way too early by people who put their towels, so by the time we'd go there around 12pm there's no were to put our stuff.

This is a really well-run hotel. There are so many guests and so many staff members, but you could see that convenience, cleanliness, and safety were a priority. The staff were helpful friendly (don't forget to tip! This is an important part of their earnings.) We went in late April, and it seemed like a really manageable level of busy for the facilties. There could have been more umbrellas available for the beach chairs, but we were able to find loungers either by the pool or on the beach without rushing every morning.
