Came here with the family, 3 young kids. Everyone had a great time. The food was good, especially if you go to the sushi or Mexican restaurant. The included buffet was just good enough to keep me happy, nothing crazy, but the sushi restaurant was some of the best sushi I’ve had, and the Mexican restaurant also really good. The beach was right next to the hotel. The pools were nice. Everything was clean and well kept. The sand was clean and lots to do. The staff were all really great, super helpful and accommodating to our needs. For the price it’s really unbeatable. Will definitely return

This resort had pros and cons, and overall it wasn't terrible by any means. My kids really liked it and would like to return. I would rather try another resort. Pros: Very clean, and grounds were beautiful and well-maintained. The beach access was perfect with nice waves to play in and clean sand. Food at the restaurants was fabulous. I would definitely recommend eating lunch at the beach "snack shacks," as the food was super good. The themed nights were really fun down on the beach, and were probably the highlight of the resort. The two entertainment shows we saw were also pretty good. The King of Pop show was considerably better than the Legends show. Now for the cons: The check in process at first felt somewhat smooth, but later realized she never told us where the heck our rooms were located. And... no surprise... there was a good reason for this. They were located several hundred yards away in a building at the front of the resort property. My friend's room was actually located outside the perimeter of the resort and her front door was in a parking lot! Not cool! We spent the first day or so being very confused about where things were located, how things worked, various odd "rules" that kept popping up. Then we realized that in order to get everything explained to us we had to sit down with a resort rep who in actuality only wanted to high-pressure sell us a time-share. Some staff were friendly and personable, but most were like zombies and looked miser

The good, the bad, and the ugly… stayed with young family of 4 in 2 bedroom suite. The resort itself is nice. The food is great (when served), beach and pool were nice, and the resort itself was very clean. However, we would never go back. The service is abysmal. There are very few places to get a drink and there’s really only one bar to get a drink at night in the common lobby, where it would typically take a half hour each time to get served with chasing the limited staff down. Kids could not go up and get a drink themselves and after each time ordering anything you would need to sign a bill which often delayed the process and absolutely delayed things like being able to walk away from a buffet breakfast although you’ve already signed up for an all inclusive package. You were also limited to 3 drinks each time you went to get them. For example if I wanted 2 bottles of water, a beer, and a pop for your kid, they would not allow this, even if my two kids were there because kids did not count. Seems absolutely ridicious - but it’s their policy. The resort itself is really tailored towards the timeshare clients. I ended up paying around $15 dollars CAD each time (45 total) just to use the gym. Never seen this not included in an all inclusive. There are also limitations to what menu items you can order in the sit down restaurants so it’s really not all inclusive. The system is set up very poorly. There policies and service made it so we would never go back. Would avoid

My family was very disappointed with our stay at Paradise Village. The place is NOT an all-inclusive as advertised. We had to pay an extra $4000 American for our week. The place was noisy and messy with a lot of construction going on. The only positive thing about Paradise Village was the staff. Very friendly and helpful. In conclusion, we will never go to vacation at Paradise Village again.

We had several issues in our room - no hot water, a sink stopper that didn’t work. But customer service was great and immediately came and helped us. Only complaint is there is no chair in the rooms for reading. The staff was excellent and very accommodating.

This is a great vacation spot! The beach is fun for walking boogie boarding. The restaurants and buffet offered great food with a variety of choices. The theme nights on the beach were a fun option. The two pools offered choice for a more quiet atmosphere or more of a party atmosphere. The food and drink service by the pool or on the beach was amazing!! So nice not to have to leave your location to get drinks or food such as sushi, whole pizzas, chicken wings and much more. The beach has a ton of palapa so always a place available. Beach volleyball was a nice touch. Overall a great resort for a family vacation!!

It was a surprisingly beautiful resort. Very clean and all the staff was excellent friendly and helpful. What i didn't like was many things on menus were not included. Ice cream for one was not included:(. They also had a no real premium alcohols. The gym was not included which from the literature I thought should have. Been. I would go back.

We booked 7 days through Expedia for our family; 2 children & 2 adults. I chose the standard room that had options for 1 king bed or 2 queen. I specified 2 queens, since we had 4 people on the reservation. Upon arrival, the check in process was a nightmare. We stood in line for approximately 1 hour until it was our turn to check in. It was busy, but also their processes are super lengthy & inefficient. We were given a room key to the most outdated hotel on the property. There was only 1 bed, no pull out or couch & the door & windows were frosted, so we felt like we were in a box. We asked to be switched to a 2 queen room & they made the accommodation quickly for us. The room did not have a patio or balcony & literally felt so claustrophobic. The property itself was nice & the kids loved the slides & pools. Food took a long time no matter which bar or waiter you ordered from, but the food was decent. We had a nice time, as we joined family there, but I would not stay here again unless I booked a nicer, more updated room with a view. Obviously that was my fault, because we didn’t know what to expect. The room descriptions weren’t very clear, as they said some of the standard rooms had balconies, so we didn’t know until we arrived. Staff was friendly, the Doctor on staff (Dr. Ivan) was simply amazing & everyone was helpful. The rooms were really my only complaint. Thank you!
