A 4 season guest house with free parking and all the necessary amenities for a wonderful stay:

-The space is decorated in a relaxing spirit. The living room, the dining room with their large windows and the two terraces offer a magnificent view of the river ;
-The first floor has a large, well-equipped kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, cold water dispenser ...) open to a sunny dining room and living room; Two closed bedrooms with 1 double bed each;
A full bathroom with walk-in shower and washer/dryer area;
-The upstairs is furnished like a loft:
A very large bedroom with 1 queen bed, loveseat area, wireless TV;
A large full bathroom***;
A reading corner, laptop work space;
A large private terrace with a view of the river.
Our drinking water comes from an artesian well but if you prefer there is also a bottled water dispenser.
La Maison du Fleuve aux Grandes Eaux is located on a portion of a private lot of +-32500 ft/square (+-3000 m/square).
Your section of +- 9000 ft/square (+-836m/square) includes in summer season (May to October); a dining area under the vines near the house with a barbecue. A relaxation area accessible all year round on the bank of the river with a breathtaking view where you can enjoy a three-seater swing under the trees, a round picnic table with benches for aperitifs or meals. With the possibility of making fires under the stars. From May to October, you will have access to a small outdoor fireplace for small campfires.
A swimming beach and the municipal wharf are located less than a minute's walk away.
Whatever the season, the landscape of this waterway will enchant you.
Île d'Orléans :
In Spring, summer, fall: a 67 km circuit with six villages and their stories, local produce, pick-your-own berries in season, artisanal bakeries, sugar shacks, chocolate factories, cider mills, jam factories, cheese factories, blackcurrant wine producers, microbreweries, orchards and vineyards, boutique and artisan workshop... you'll be spoilt for choice.
But also bike rides, tennis and golf, heated pool, sea kayaking, zodiac excursions, museums, antiques, art galleries, summer theater and bistro restaurants.
In winter, more than 20 places open on the island (local produce boutiques, workshops, restaurants and shops), deserve your attention.
Activities: snowshoeing on the coast or hiking in one of the 6 picturesque villages on Île d'Orléans.
Snowmobiling and ice fishing are also available for a fee.

Access for travelers
Access to the house is contactless with a secure key box.
The "Maison du fleuve aux grandes eaux" is entirely at your disposal, except for a small storage area located on the first floor.
Other points to note:
"The river of great waters" is the literal translation of Magtogoek, the Native American name for the St. Lawrence River.
*** Also note that the whirlpool function of the upstairs bathing room is out of order and that the house is not adapted for wheelchair users. ***

To all those who want to have a big fiesta with friends, these places are not for you.
The basic reservation is for two (2) people, the cost for any additional people is $20/night/person, payable at the time of reservation or upon arrival. You cannot exceed the number of adults (6) authorized to sleep.
In either case, we will be obliged to terminate your stay without refund.
