Never again

The Apple tree inn was terrible, I would not stay there again. They do however own another motel across the road and after a complaint about our first of three nights booked at the Apple tree and a request to be moved, they were very accommodating in doing so. I would stay at the other property again, but not the Apple Tree. It’s in very bad condition, our bathroom smelled like urine. The air conditioner is nothing more than a fan blowing air in from outside. Our room was so hot we asked for a portable fan, which they brought. But it was still too hot to even be able to sleep. There are no phones to the main desk and nobody at the desk paper 10 pm. We had very loud noisy neighbours until 2:30 am and nobody to deal with it.

Broken lights, uncomfortable beds, no hot water, no proper bath supplies and rates are at par with standard rates. Will not go here again.

Stayed here on our way to Fairmont hotsprings. The couple who own this quaint, and cozy little motel are absolutely amazing, and so friendly, and kind. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend anyone traveling the area looking for an affordable place to stay for a few nights

This property has to be at least sixty years old, and has seen little upkeep. It is dirty, and in my opinion unsafe. I do not know how it could possibly pass building code inspection as there bare electrical wires visible near the former hot tub, the balcony railings were held together by slip shod temporary 2 x 4's, electrical plugs were overloaded with extra things plugged into them, the freezer section of the fridge had no door, the windows had no screens and were in terrible condition, the walls were patched up with unfinished plywood, there was no shower mat or safety railings, very poor lighting--the list is endless. It needs to be demolished!

Absolutely my worst vacation experience. I made reservations for 9 nights looking Expedia rating and pictures of rooms.Motel have three days cancellation rule.When we came to check in they changed my credit card and gave us keys for a room.When we went to the room it was disaster and nothing like on pictures.We returned to front desk and told them that we can’t take that room and we want to cancel our reservation.They told us that is to late because we can cancel reservation only three days before you even see the room.They offered another room that was little bit better but still far from what was advertised on Expedia.We called Expedia to help us with cancellation and after more than hour talking with them Expedia told us they can’t do anything ad “they are sorry for our inconvenience “.We were forced or to stay in that room or to loose all amount for 9 days.After four days manager of Motel decided to allow us to leave and return money for five days.Now after six days still waiting for refund.Absolutely not recommending this place to anybody and very disappointed with Expedia because after reading reviews I can see that I am not first one with this issue and probably not last but Expedia continues business with them. I hope this will help some people not to have same experience like me.

Way over priced

What a joke for the cost. Pictures do NOT match what the place looks like. The property has not been kept up. The balcony is falling apart and inaccessibile. The room was dark and very dated. Thebkitchen had almost no supplies. Only a burner that hardly and a couple cooking utensils. The bathroom looked straight out of the 80s including the shower curtin. Not sure the last time that was cleaned. The front desk man was hard to understand and said nothing about services or breakfast. I had to look back at the app to see that breakfast was free. We had to google where to look and found out it was a walk down the street at a different building. When we got there the cook didnt wan to serve us because we didnt have a voucher. We never received a voucher at check in. He finally agreed but was clearly upset. We have traveled western Canada for 3 weeks. This was the most expensive hotel stay and was definitely NOT worth even half that cost.

Beds are super comfy. Staff was super helpful very clean little out a date but if you’re looking for a place on a budget, I would highly suggest this beds are amazing. I said that I know, but they are nice kitchenette, and very clean
