"This property is about 34 Kms from the airport and they do not provide bus transportation. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and the van cost us 2300 pesos (200 CAD) from airport to the resort.
The resort is the oldest in the Palladium group and does require upgrades specially in the washrooms. They are quite dated.
The cleanliness of the rooms was very good and the staff excellent. There is a buffet restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are good not gourmet. There are 4 A-la-carte restaurants and they are quite good, make sure you book them in advance. If the concierge informs you that you can book only one restaurant at a time ask for his supervisor and get the booking done through him. Do not waste time trying to book on their website.
Be prepared to walk quite a bit as the resort is on a sprawling area. Another important thing to note is that none of the buildings have elevators hence, if you have difficulty climbing stairs ensure you book the first floor.
If you want to go to downtown area be prepared to pay to pay hefty taxi charges. Most important, make sure you have medical insurance as it is extremely expensive if you have to visit a medical clinic or hospital. They have a doctor on the resort during the day.
Do not fall for the Membership plan which they market aggressively.
Overall we had a wonderful time at this resort, specially the kids as there was a kids club for them to enjoy."
