Good place in the city. Just was a bit loud sometimes and took awhile for the A/C to get working since the power does not work without your room key. Overall a good experience.

Property well maintained and clean; very responsive and engaging staff. Very convenient location near major attractions and transit lines with convenient Train station - Airport shuttle stop right in front of hotel. Lack of external signage makes it a little tricky to find, and free floating in-room safe not being secured to the room in any way (making it more or less moot) are minor suggestions for improvement. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location. Love all the difference things we had to do to get in our room, very da Vinci code feel. The only thing was that our air conditioning made a constant noise. Love having the breakfast. Proximity to all the major attractions.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Nox Guest House was nice, however: 1) At least for the first 2 or 3 rooms, it appears that all of the toilet plumbing empties or is aided through a pump of some kind located in Room 1 (which was our room) and said pump or junction is housed outside of the wall in a not-very-well acoustically or odor insulated housing (door therto was warped & loose), making it so that every time someone flushed in our room or the proximate rooms it sounded like a submarine submerging, and subsequently did not smell very nice. Ick. 2) Inner door knob to our room fell off as soon as we arrived. Staff on site attempted to fix (looked like a missing hex screw), but fell off again when we left. Hopefully 2nd time is the charm. 3) We booked two rooms for 4 people in March (for June stay), but one of the 4 simultaneously booked a room, not realizing we had book the two. She within 24 hours contacted the property to conceal her extra booking, but the property would not cancel her extra reservation, charging full price even if cancelled. Not a very good policy, especially within that time frame. The aesthetics of the Nox are nice- contemporary without being gaudy, and the staff, when present, were courteous and helpful.
