Extremely Decent!

This apartment was clean and a nice place to stay for just two nights, however, I wish I could’ve found something closer the Trevi fountain area because that is where all the attractions are and great restaurants I found. The apartment is right by Vatican City though if that is what your priority is. The apartment is definitely a lot more dingy than the photos suggest. Overall, a good enough place and the people that run it are extremely helpful and nice, but I would search for something a bit better if I could go back to when I was booking this place.

Absolutely Amazing

This spacious, private apartment in Prati was absolutely perfect. The location was wonderful and so close to the Ottaviano metro stop that we could easily get to anywhere in the city. The patio was marvelous, and we enjoyed coffee out there in the morning and wine at night. We found several; fabulous ristorantes nearby, and shopped at both the massive mercato just down the street, and the grocery store just a couple blocks away. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was of a decent size, and the elevator -- while small -- served our purposes very well. Emanuele checked us in, and he was very thorough in explaining things to us, and showing us all the major attractions in the city. One note: be wary of scammers at Termini, and pickpockets on the trains. They tried to rob both of us, but because we were wary they didn't get anything. If you're considering renting this apartment, do it. You'll be glad you did.

Perfect Rome Vacation

The apartment is in an excellent location and very comfortable. Being close to the metro allowed my wife and I to visit many sites in Rome as well as take day trips to the countryside. We look forward to returning to Rome and staying here again.

Great apartment in a great location

This apartment was clean, well appointed and immediately felt like home. The roof terrace is a wonderful bonus, and the layout worked well for our family of four (two young children). It’s a very short walk from St Peter’s and even closer to the local metro stop. Our only complaint was that the kitchen could haven been better equipped (couldn’t find good knives for cooking). Worth mentioning that the lift doesn’t go quite to the top of the building where this flat is, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was a good size and in a great area. Very close to shops and restaurants and close to the Vatican. We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying our morning espresso.

First trip to Rome

The apt was perfect for my family of 4. It is located towards the top of the building- with a nice patio, but not much of a view. Thankfully There was a small 2-3 person elevator… the check in process was easy!

Great location, lovely apartment.

The location was perfect for people who want to experience the area around the Vatican. There’s also great shopping and restaurants. Apartment is very nice and clean. Has all the amenities. Beautiful terrace to enjoy a morning coffee. Fully equipped. Would stay here again.

Great rental

The location is great, as it’s close to the Vatican, but away from the hectic pace of Rome. But the Metro is a five minute walk away, so you can be in central Rome in 10 minutes. The apartment is clean, spacious, and filled with art and books. The kitchen could use a few more amenities, like dishes, but we mostly ate out. The patio is good for sitting on while reading or having a glass of wine. I would definitely return to this rental.

Great space, great location and no hassle rental process. Near Vatican City, Metro is close by. But walking a lot should be expected if really experiencing the city is the goal. I’d stay here again.

Now firstly , do not be frightened that this apartment is up high!! It’s so worth the easy lift ride. Great place with great location

Great two bedroom apartment (top floor w/ elevator or stairs). with patio garden. 3 ways to get to patio( 1 bedroom, family room and kitchen). Just blocks from Vatican City. We could hear the trumpets and bells going off in the distance in the late mornings. Kitchen has all the necessities, including a few stove top Expresso makers. Bathroom is updated has a window that opens up with little garden attached. Great for getting fresh air after a shower. Selection of DVD’s were great as all tv channels were italian. Wasn’t a big deal for us. Great little Bistro 20 steps from apartment building entrance and a lot of little markets and restaurants dot the streets all around. I would highly recommend. Note: to owners. Wasn’t a big deal, but no dishwasher detergent, paper towels and shortage of toilet paper. I picked some up and left it for next guests. Saluti!

Apartment 21 at 23 Otranto is just fabulous, it’s close to most places with excellent access to the Metro to travel further afield. It was presented very clean and tidy with a wonderful atmosphere with its rooftop patio and garden. We would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing and comfortable place that’s like a home away from home. The tiny lift is a bit of a shock to see at first but becomes a novelty especially for our 10 year old Jack. Excellent shopping for Food and other consumables are in the same street or only 5 minutes away. The staff from WeeklyRentals were very courteous and helpful with stocking up the fridge and cupboards as we had requested. Our pickup from the Airport and for our onward booking was excellent. Spacious apartment ideally located to explore the city of Rome

We loved the apartment which was clean and spacious. The location was perfect for exploring Rome, very close to the Metro and an excellent market for food shopping. There were also many places to eat and drink and have a little retail therapy within easy walk of the front door. It was quiet at night and the beds were really comfortable. It was lovely to look out onto the terrace but a little too cold to use it in December. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with toiletries provided. We most of what we needed to self cater. There were plenty of plates and glasses but the kitchen equipment was a little basic and, sadly, the coffee maker was broken. There were no knives for preparing vegetables or a potato peeler. We had to purchase basics like salt and olive oil which are often provided. The biggest problem we had was with our arrival instructions. We were unable to access the building as the main doors were shut and locked. Even when we got in (with one of the residents) , we were unsure where the apartment was located and we waited half an hour standing in the cold. This was not good as I was travelling with relatives who were 88 and 92. I was unable to contact anyone at Weekey rentals to ask for advice whilst we waited, even though I telephoned three different numbers. Apart from that, we were happy at the apartment. I did use the car pick up service having read what others had said about it. Sadly, it meant walking quite a way from the terminal building. We were taken via a back route into Rome through underpasses which was not at all picturesque. The mini guided tour of Rome we hoped for, is dependant upon who you get as your driver.

Enjoyable Stay; Good Location

We enjoyed our stay in this flat near the Vatican. I would say, it was a good price for good accommodations. Nothing over the top, but, satisfactory. Flat is on the fifth floor, elevator(tiny) goes to the forth floor, last flight is via steps. Our primary reason for selecting this apartment was the private balcony, we had good weather that allowed us to enjoy glasses of wine and our morning breakfast before heading out on our daily adventures. Close to Metro station. Sort of an odd collection of glassware and dishes that could be upgraded. Our only issue was, the selection of "self catering" on the initial check-in forms. I assumed this meant "food and beverage." To Weekey, the management company that operates this apartment, it means everything in the apartment that is disposable i.e. tt, paper towels, dishwasher soap, etc. Minor detail, yes, but, could have been more clearly stated

Absolutely perfect!

This is a cozy cute apartment that is a great neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. We cooked every night. We could eat on the terrace and enjoy our morning coffee there. We could walk to everything. Great restaurants, the market. I would suggest skipping the grocery store and going to Mercato Trionfale. It has everything from fresh produce to eggs, cheese, cleaning supplies clothes. However it's only open until 2PM. The apt is on the 5th floor. The elevator (which is teeny tiny) only goes to 4 so you walk up one flight. It's not bad at all. (Well my husband may disagree carrying up my suitcase). If you are looking to live like a local this is a great choice. Thanks to Marta and all who made this such a great trip. See you next year!

The apartment was charming and the location was fabulous.

I echo all the good things others have said about this home. It was clean and well-kept in a larger residential building. Very safe location and lots of fabulous local restaurants nearby. Thank you to Raffaelle who greeted us when we arrived and showed us around! We used the transportation service which I also highly recommend. Our driver into Rome gave us a mini tour from Ciampino Airport. Definitely would stay there again!

Wonderful home!

Terrific spot! The apartment, exactly as pictured, is big and clean and within walking distance to The Vatican and many other conveniences (shopping, eateries, metro). The patio was a wonderful spot too. We spent lots of time on it after long days exploring. The bedrooms were big, and the beds were very comfortable. It also has air conditioning - such a bonus! The rental company was also easy to deal with, and Marta welcomed us and made us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome.
