We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is well put, has character, felt safe, very family friendly and is in a very good location - St Peter’s Square, the Basilica, and the Vatican Museum entrance is really closeby, a few meters walk to the metro station, restaurants like Jollibee, a Filipino fast-food is nearby, gelateria is just a few steps from the location, souvenir shops that gives better prices than the stores close to the attractions, street and indoor car parking available a block or two away, Italian known stores like Bialetti (free coffee to try) for coffee and tea lovers, and Legami (kinda like Miniso) which I think teen kids would like to check out. The host, Amedeo, is very attentive and answers our messages quickly.
One thing that people should be aware though - and this is not a deal breaker - is that there is a tax (a few hundred Euros, apart from the posted price for the stay) to be paid through a link that the host will send during the check-in process, which is about a few days before your arrival to the apartment. I believe this is not listed on their posting, but I stand corrected if it is. I recommend to message the host in advance about this as the tax varies depending on the number of people that will stay in the apartment.
Overall, our days in Rome and Vatican City was well spent thanks to this place.
