This new home features a panoramic roof deck with ocean and bay views, high ceilings with large windows for plenty of natural light, quality bedding, and new appliances in a fully equipped kitchen. It's only one block from the beach, and easy walking distance to countless restaurants and tasting rooms.

Parking — This unit parks one car in a garage. Access can be tight due to the alley configuration. Large vehicles are very hard to maneuver in and out.

No Smoking - Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises. An additional cleaning fee of $100 may be charged for cigarette butts found on the property

No Parties - Parties without prior written permission are not welcome here. Please spare our environment. A $100 cleaning fee will be charged for any confetti found.

We were really excited for our first stay booked through Vrbo, but unfortunately the property did not meet expectations.When we arrived, the home was noticeably unclean. There was visible dirt in the sinks, layers of dust on surfaces, and even a toothpick left out. We also found trash under the sink, and the BBQ grill knobs were burnt off. Overall, the condition of the home did not match the listing photos, which made us feel uncomfortable staying there.To the host’s credit, communication was prompt and professional. They quickly responded to our concerns and offered to send a cleaner right away. However, due to the overall condition of the property, we did not feel comfortable remaining at the home even with cleaning.The host ultimately apologized and offered a full refund, which we appreciated.While we’re disappointed with the condition of the property, we do appreciate the host’s responsiveness and effort to make things right. We just wish the home had been properly cleaned and accurately represented from the start.

Looked for a property with parking, welcome email said only medium vehicles could fit when the listing only said large vehicles could find it challenging. Listing also said it had parking for 2 vehicles, the property only had parking for one small vehicle.

We didn't use any of the kitchen supplies. No table to sit at!All the woodwork was sticky, floors were dirty, sink has massive stains. Shower floors were not clean. There was no bedding for on the couches and only 3 bath towels with 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. Additional supplies were brought late on the 2nd day of our stay. The handrail outside to get in the house was broke and did not provide stable support.The picture of the rental advertised was not the place we stayed in. Garage could not fit either of our cars.

The location was great and we loved the rooftop patio. The downstairs bedroom with the futon had no bedding whatsoever. Most of the furniture was damaged and worn. The place could definitely use a deep clean. There was nowhere to eat and very limited seating. The a/c spit out black stuff

The roof top deck is really the selling point! Amazing view. Lots of seating etc. perfect for sunsets. Good amenities. Perfect to walk to beach and town. Good local restaurants! And people in OB are very friendly! I scored it a 4 star because there was a lot more outside noise than I would expect. Unit is directly in the line of plane takeoffs from San Diego, and is next to the alley that has more foot and car and garbage pickup traffic. Still totally recommend it, but something to consider for that location access.

This property is in a great location. It is well stocked with everything one might need during their stay. Plenty of towels! Very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The beds were quite comfortable. There isn’t really a “living room TV”, but that did not bother us at all. We did not use the garage parking because we have a large vehicle, however, we didn’t have any trouble finding on street parking- mostly right in front! I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location a block away from dog beach.Great roof top view with a brand new grill. Beautiful to watch sunsets and dine outdoors. Lots of space in the house on multiple levels as long as you don’t mind some stairs.I loved having a garage and if you have a small car and you’re good at backing into tight spaces it’s perfect! Having a full size washer and dryer is great too. We utilized the outdoor shower a lot too. The place could use a little tlc in some of the furniture/decor/pillows/bedding/towels were pretty worn-definitely one home goods trip could remedy most of those things :) And if it’s hot like it was the one day you may end up sleeping in the loft or downstairs bc those are the only areas with mini split ac All in all we would stay again bc the location is great!

Property was just what we needed close to the beach /dog beach and rooms. The bottom room is basically its own tiny apartment which was great for our teens. Only side note i would add is that some inside doors was a little struggle to lock but not a major issue as a family. The host was also super kind enough to order some utensils since we did jot have enough.

Not the cleanest, but great location

Check in was easy and online, but the place is aged compared to the pictures. Furniture and some finishes could use a refresh. Outdoor furniture was ripped and sundried. The whole place, inside and out, could have been cleaned better prior to checking in. Perhaps it was, but not well or they just did a quick clean between reservations. The downstairs bed/pull out is very uncomfortable, so we just went with the couch upstairs. Overall was a good place, great location, by the beach and markets/food, but could have been cleaner and better kept.

Excellent location

The location of this place is ideal. Walking distance to anything you might need like a cvs, restaurants, convenient stores and the beach. We really enjoyed the dog beach nearby. Place was clean and orderly. Looking forward to our next visit.
