Had to park in subway parking lot. Cable tv didn't work Shower didn't drain, had to take a shower with water up past my ankles Could hear everything outside of room and train track close to hotel with train going by about every hour Carpet was in bad shape with a tear all the way across entry

Way too much to write in a small space. The worst customer service in a hotel I have ever had. The facilities are very dingy and poorly maintained. Minimal amenities, very unwelcoming. I received an empty response to my initial response to my survey. It was a total waste of money. Stay elsewhere.

Decent hotel for the money.

The first night (Saturday), the hotel was full and very noisy. Also got woken up by the train and my upstairs neighbors, as well as all the loud traffic on the road. The next 2 nights were not as busy and I was tired from the park, so I slept well. The beds are quite comfy. I thought the location was great but maybe a room in the back of the motel would be quieter.

Disgusting-Do Not Stay Here!

When you walk in it smells like body odor. The hallway carpets were not vaccuumed. Our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There was a used bar of soap in the shower, body hair all over bathroom floor, dirt all over bathroom door, toilet kept clogging. The tables were covered with dust, there was a dirty paper towel shoved into the corner of window, and..I'm not making this up..dried snot wiped on the wall. We were so disgusted that we left soon after arriving, ruining our trip. When told why we were leaving, the desk clerk did not offer any solution, just printed our receipt and sent us on our way. I have contaced the GM of this hotel and the corporate office of Choice Hotels and have received no response from either.

Dirty and not worth $* a night

the front desk clerk, was about the only positive thing about this visit. He was friendly and helpful. The rooms, however, were dirty. There were unidentifiable marks on the bedding and mildew on the showere curtain. The breakfast was terrible. I know that it was a free continental breakfast but I still would have expected more than three stale cereals, a couple of baked goods and a few pieces of fruit with mold on the oranges. The milk pitcher had a giant crack in the side of it. There was certainly no comfort at this inn!

Mediocre Facility

I suppose due to it's nearness to the amusement park they can charge what they do per night and folks will pay. Nothing to rave or complain about other than pricing. Hotel staff not the most professional i've encountered. Overall quiet nights stay or maybe too tired to care.

We do not recommend this hotel

Day 1-CHECK IN When we arrived at the hotel after a long drive, there was no one at the front desk. There was a cordless phone, telephone base with a note to push the pager for service. We pushed the pager to no avail. We could actually see the staff person on the phone in the adjacent laundry room, doing the laundry. When she got off the phone, I paged again and finally she came to the front desk. We arrived at around 6 p.m. and was told that our room was not available because someone decided to do a late check out. I was then asked a series of questions: ""Did you just book the rooms?"" ""Did you just add on a room?"" . The answer was no to each question. The staff person then got on the phone to call a manager. After speaking to the manager, there is suddenly a room available for us. When we walked into our room, the smell of stale smoke was strong. We had asked for a non smoking room. Day 2 -BREAKFAST The kids were so excited about the Belgian Waffle machine. This was the highlight of breakfast. Until the hotel ran out of syrup. So depressing. This was Memorial weekend! Why didn't they plan ahead. Day 3-BREAKFAST Still no syrup. Kids had Belgian Waffles with butter only. So sad.

Ok stay

Nothing great...nothing awful. Just get a room on the backside away from the road as the train goes by starting at 4:30 am and repeats every half hour.....it will wake you up.

Smart Choice

This was a last minute trip. The price was right. I was a bit surprised that it was called Comort Inn Cedar Point as it was about five miles from Cedar Point and there was a Comfort Inn much Closer. However, it was still in a good location. The hotel was neat and clean and it came with a self serve breakfast which had a variety of options. The doors to the rooms were all inside so we felt very safe and the rooms were quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this hotel.
