Just steps to the sand and a one-minute walk to Moran Lake Beach, this home offers panoramic 180° views of the beautiful bay from Monterey/Carmel all the way to Santa Cruz. By day, soak up the sunshine and ocean activity; by night, enjoy the sparkling Santa Cruz city lights and breathtaking sunsets. Gather on the expansive oceanfront deck with a gas grill, dining set, and lounges—perfect for BBQs, sunsets, or simply relaxing with a book. An additional upper deck off the master suite provides a private perch for quiet mornings or stargazing evenings.
This is one of the best spots for world-class surfing at Pleasure Point and WindanSea—surfboards are included! Watch surfers, sailboats, seals, otters, dolphins, and pelicans right from your deck, or hop on the bike path (bikes provided) and ride to Capitola.

This house was all about the views, the outside deck perched above the crashing waves! We loved the beautiful sunsets, dolphin, seal, otter and pelican sightings. The house had everything we needed and was well equipped and comfortable for 8 people. Unfortunately the house was musty upon entering and lingered the entire stay especially in the studio bedroom...A few air fresheners may have helped. Bedrooms and linens were very comfy and nice. Parking in the driveway was tight and tricky being on such a busy road but we still appreciated having room for 4 cars. All in all a wonderful stay!

Great house! This was our second stay and we will hopefully be back! The house is perfect for 8 adults with a separate en suite entrance to a hotel like king room and the upstairs penthouse is AMAZING. Right on the water, great deck, private, next to a mostly locals beach. Its really my favorite spot. Walk to market deli too! We spent most of our time on the huge deck and had dinners around the dining table inside. Kitchen has just about everything you need except we would have liked a couple of sheet trays but we improvised. We watched all the football on sunday in the large great room which was lots of fun 10/10

Nice house, great view, kitchen had nice appliances. Pretty well equipped and clean. The little things that could have helped- portable fans (it was warm the day we arrived, no way to move the air, especially upstairs), Kleenex, napkins, COTTON sheets- polyester doesn't breath and isn't comfortable. Could also have used some tea mugs, small spoons (a mixed bag of silverware), and maybe a set of wine glasses. We bought some salt and pepper 'cause there wasn't any. At this price point these additions would have been nice.

The view was spectacular. The sound of waves crashing nonstop is something this place offers.There were some issues:Dishes were not washed properly, so we had to re-wash a bunch of them before using.The microwave was broken.There is construction happening next door and it seems the property manager is not really in touch about this so one of the days we ended up experiencing loud machine noises coming from the patio next door (it would have been nice to be informed before we booked the place). Overall, the place could be better managed.

Memorial Day Birthdays

The trip to our favorite location , Santa Cruz , was AWSOME . The weather was perfect, the location of the home , perfect . One huge setback was Construction at each house on either side of this house. We arrived on Friday afternoon to construction trucks on both sides of the driveway with considerable construction noise. It’s not the homeowners fault BUT a HEADS-UP would of been very appreciative !! The pictures make the inside of the home look much bigger but it did fit our family needs. “ THE DECK IS THE SELLING POINT , your practically on top of the water and that’s what we wanted ( no foot traffic or roads to spoil you from the water ) going down to the water is a short walk 4-5 houses away . The kitchen was nice and had most of what you will need ( has No cookie sheet pans , pantry was just minimal and fridge nothing — so bring Everything you’d want for a recipe ). Bathrooms were nice and beds OK — a little hard , but spacious . Street side very congested and you are right before a curve with no sidewalks. We brought bikes but didn’t feel comfortable riding by the house and took the bikes to another location to ride. All- in- all celebrating my husband’s 70th, our sons 50th and our other sons 43rd Birthday was very Special at our favorite Santa Cruz with a Very nice home that meet our needs.

house overall had great views of Ocean and if you book this house this is why your staying here. the lights in master bathroom didn't work. property manager had 2 people over 2 days come out and they were fixed. Washer does not work well at all. Spin cycle would not work without the washer going out of balance. Wife was very fustrated with planning on washing kids clothes. The listing said it had private stairs to the beach area. There is no stairs but access to beach is a few houses down. Finally we booked this trip about 6 months prior to arrival. We were very surprised to show up and find out the house had been up for sale for several months prior to our arrival. We were never notified that property could have potential sale at anytime. This was lesson learned on our part to check into prior. Would have really ruined our trip if we found out late that are booking was cancelled due to sale of property.

Location! Location! Location!

Beautiful stay any time of the year. We saw a lot of marine life this time at Pleasure Point- otters, sea lions, harbor seals, flocks of birds and couldn’t discern if they were dolphins or sharks feeding! We were efficiently assisted with a few needs (more TP, dishwasher soap, fireplace lighter/directions.)Close proximity to Capitola and beach/boardwalk is always fun.Bedroom size/location for a friend vs family stay is the only challenge, which we solve by taking turns.

Great beach house with a view.

Gorgeous view of the ocean..with a huge deck with many chairs to sit on and relax while watching the waves crash on the beach. Huge bay windows in family room to watch the sunsets while having dinner on a big table that seats 8. The house is seconds away from Santa Cruz and Capitola.

Birthday celebration

My husband and I and my three adult children and their spouses came to celebrate my 65th birthday. This house was perfect size for all of us. We really enjoyed the sunsets, watching whales and hanging on the deck. It had everything we need. We were there for five nights and did have to pick up extra toilet paper and paper towel.

Beautiful views

This house has great views from living room and the master bedroom. We were able to spot a few whale spouts, dolphins, and otters. It has easy access to the beach and walk on E Cliff Dr towards Capitola's downtown is very pleasant as well.
