Was a lovely room. Freshly painted it seemed. The bed was king size and fabulous. A bit high and I’m 5’9”. If I was to say anything negative it would be that the window air unit was LOUD. I slept through it. The location is very good. Right by everything and great parking. Oops I forgot. The recliner was broken. Hahaha. That was funny. Seems to me a place that makes over 150.00 a night could have a decent chair. The bed made everything ok. A good bed is all I need. And a toilet. Shower. 😻

This motel is smack-dab across from the internationally-known Sault Locks. It's been in its location easily 50 years: as "retro" as you can get! It has a tropical "cabana" vibe and has one of the best "free" breakfasts on Portage Ave. It's economical, offers a discount for meals at the restaurant by the same name nextdoor (but unrelated venue), and walkable to just about anything: pubs, ice cream, the Locks Visitor Center, everything that makes the Soo fun. I can't wait to go back.
