Was a lovely room. Freshly painted it seemed. The bed was king size and fabulous. A bit high and I’m 5’9”. If I was to say anything negative it would be that the window air unit was LOUD. I slept through it. The location is very good. Right by everything and great parking. Oops I forgot. The recliner was broken. Hahaha. That was funny. Seems to me a place that makes over 150.00 a night could have a decent chair. The bed made everything ok. A good bed is all I need. And a toilet. Shower. 😻

We loved our room newly decorated with a rustic touch. Everyone was very helpful. Parking at some of the cabins was a little tight if you wanted to be close to your room. But being downtown you can walk to everything g. The boat tours are fun around the locks.

We love to visit Sault St Marie. The Lockview is our favorite place to stay while we're there. Close to the best sites, best food, shopping, and local attractions. Highly recommend!

The Lockview Motel is a charming retro property. It is an old motel but has been updated. The room was extremely clean. Its so convenient to the park, restaurants, and shopping. Little bistro table and chairs outside of room as well as a table and chairs in room. Continental breakfast with some hot options each morning.

Great Location

This was our second time staying here, and we were once again pleased with our choice. We love the little cabins lining the lane behind the main motel. They are clean, nicely updated, and very comfortable. Yes, your neighbors are close, but we never heard a peep from them. We love the location of the Lock Inn, directly across from the locks and park. We again hit this on a Wed. night when there are concerts in the park all summer long. This time it was a local Native American dance demonstration, which was amazing and very moving. The only thing I'd suggest to the managers of this hotel, is get someone in to take care of the landscaping... pull a few weeds, (especially in front of the cabins) put up some window boxes filled with flowers on the balcony railings... Visual first impressions are so important. Overall, though, a great place. We'll be back!

The owner was very nice. So was the breakfast cook. The location is perfect for walking to the Soo Locks. Beds were very comfortable. On the other side, the deluxe double queen room had no table or chairs. There was no closet and only three hooks on the wall. One of which was broken.

is NOT worth 200 a night!!!!!!!! if you want location, then ,yes,right acrossfrom the locks. But the room is a dump. dont expect much . and you wont be disappointed. beds are lumpy. curtains are inside out. doors are a pain. hotel is close to locks, shopping, and restaurants. Im really trying to be nice. I wouldnt pay more than 50 bucks a night . I would try the Ojibway hotel.
