Spectacular pond views from the large screened porch are one of the highlights of this bright and airy beach cottage.

The cathedral ceiling in the living room with the large sliding door to the screened porch create a light, bright and open gathering place to enjoy the 55-inch HDTV. The first floor continues to include the open dining area with a table that seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your food prep and dining needs. Sip cool drinks on the large screened porch while watching the wildlife on the lagoon. Play a card game around the dining room table that seats 6, with an additional table for 4 downstairs.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, HDTV, and full en-suite bathroom with a shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. It shares a full bathroom with the 3rd bedroom which has 2 twin beds. The hall bathroom has a shower/tub. A full size washer and dryer complete the main floor. Head upstairs to the loft. Boasting the best pond view, this open loft has a comfortable queen size sofa bed, another separate sitting area with a day bed, desk, and a spacious full bath with a great shower.

The cottage has many extras. There is also a large gas grill. All linens and towels are provided for your convenience (please bring your own beach towels).

*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.

Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.

The first gate pass is included in your stay. You must call our office if you require more than one gate pass

LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) RENTALS PERMITTED at this property. An LSV requires the use of one of the gate passes included in the maximum number of vehicles passes.
Requirements for LSVs
Must be registered and insured, have a 17-digit VIN and display an LSV license plate, display a valid SIPOA entry pass issued specifically to that vehicle. Drivers must have a valid driver's license. No off-road tires allowed
Usage Restrictions:
For street use only. No use on bicycle paths, walking paths, golf course cart paths, boardwalks, or beaches. Follow SIPOA vehicle and parking rules.
Safety Requirements: SC seat belt laws apply to all occupants. Child seats are a must. SIPOA officers and CCSO will stop vehicles with unsecured children

Seabrook Island is a cashless island. Your credit card will be linked to an in-app digital QR code for all purchases. Your QR code also acts as your "key" to enter all Club and Lake House facilities.

First time staying on Seabrook Island. We had a wonderful time during our mother/daughter get away. The cottage was clean and as listed. Very well appointed. The screened porch was absolutely amazing and even better in person. We loved the use of the Beach Club and the owners really thought of everything for a pleasant stay. There were bikes, beach chairs and other gear as well. We would definitely rent this property again!

Perfect Seabrook Stay

This property was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and worked perfectly for my husband and two daughters. Access to both the beach and clubhouse area was minutes away via car and we never really had trouble finding a space to park. We drove around the island because I am pregnant, but it would have been an easy bike ride from the house to many key spots as well. We used the provided beach gear daily, and each time we visited a beach area, it was beautiful and uncrowded. Freshfields Village was a super easy drive; we enjoyed dining and shopping there throughout our stay. We loved Fuji Sushi Bar and Cantina 76, and sitting in the outdoor patio area at La Tela Pizzeria on our final night was a highlight! For those interested in Charleston dining, we would highly recommend Poogan's Porch, Locals Sushi and Sports Pub, and Vicious Biscuit. We're already looking for a window to return to Seabrook soon!

Quiet island stay

This was an excellent spot for a get away. Our main destination was Charleston, but we wanted to stay away from the bustle of the city. The house was in a beautiful development which was totally beautiful from the security gate entrance to the house. The house had a beautiful sea coast motif and the furniture was really comfortable. Anything you needed was supplied from dishes, spices, games, books, bikes, even little paper cups in the bathrooms! Definitely well supplied. House was very clean. We only used downstairs, but upstairs was just as lovely, but hot. Fan was available. Have no complaints about the property. Fun sitting on enclosed porch watching the egrets capturing fish! Location provided easy access to other islands and Charleston. Would definitely recommend to others. Only negative was getting the luggage up the steps, and that is no show stopper!

Lovely cottage

513 Tarpon Pond is a lovely cottage with a spectacular view. The cottage decor is perfect and very comfortable. We had a few family members who had to work virtually and there was plenty of room for them to situate and not interfere with one another. Having been family members of property owners on Seabrook Island, we have spent every summer here for nearly 30 years. We love Seabrook and were thrilled to find a cottage so close to our former property that was able to accommodate our large family. Having the amenity cards was great, as well, as we had access to SIPOA pools and the Lake House in the past and the cards gave us the Lake House and Club pool access. Everyone we spoke with at Coastal Getaways was courteous, helpful and efficient. We had a couple of issues that were promptly addressed. This was our first time renting, we had no issues with the rental process and will definitely rent again.

Adorable cottage with plenty of room!

We were very happy with our stay this summer. This is our 4th trip to Seabrook, and have stayed in 4 different properties. This cottage did not disappoint! Only negative is the kitchen isn't well stacked, and one of the bikes was not working. However, other than that, we had no problems!

Gorgeous views, but needs some upkeep

After having lived on Kiawah Island for three years, we wanted to experience Seabrook and all it has to offer. The cottage was beautiful and well-decorated, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were urine stains on all of the rugs in the house, especially the large one in the living room, which unfortunately cannot be rolled up. Having a pet-friendly cottage, I would expect the owners to not have large un-removable rugs, or at least have washable ones so guests could always wash them if their pet has an accident. The stains were very off-putting and malodorous. In addition, the couch is very old and does have a very strong "dog" smell, even for a dog person. The view was lovely and the weather perfect, and the house was nicely decorated, but we would choose to stay somewhere else in the future unless they remove/replace the rugs and couch.

Because it was much bigger than what I had expected. It was so clean and had nearly every amenity that we could think of. The neighborhood is beautiful and very family and pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we may try to come back again next year!

Great vacation spot!

We’ve been to Hilton Head and Kiawah, but we hadn’t been to Seabrook Island before. Seabrook is the best of the three! 513 Tarpon Pond Road has it all and you won’t be disappointed. The views are beautiful, the house is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully-equipped and the beaches are only a 5 minute drive. When we come back to Seabrook, we will definitely be staying at 513 Tarpon Pond.

Favorite cottage

This was our second stay at tarpon pond and we were thrilled to be back. The house has all the comforts of home and the screened porch is so perfect. The weather was warm and even in winter we sat outside and enjoyed watching all the different birds in the lagoon. We enjoyed using the bikes to ride to the beach and look forward to coming back in summer. Our favorite place on Seabrook after coming here for 15 years,

Great place for a family vacation!!

ï»żWe had a great time creating memories with our son and his family ( 4 Grands) in this beautiful location. The house was beautiful and as advertised. All the amenities were there and a bonus was the bikes The ping pong table was enjoyed by all. The covered patio was our favorite place to spend our time. Family Vacation

This home was perfect for our family. It was beautifully decorated & clean. The only thing (I won’t call it a complaint because we made it work), was the small number of washcloths. We had to do laundry every day in order to have enough, but like I said, compared to how nice everything else was, it wasn’t that bad...just a suggestion. We would LOVE to visit again & hope to make this our new summer vacation destination!

Lovely cottage on Seabrook Island

We have been vacationing on Seabrook or Kiawah for 25 years. This was the best place we have rented. The screened porch was the most popular place. The view was wonderful- the pictures just don't do it justice. The porch furniture was very comfortable so we spent a lot of time there. We also ate several dinner at the table there. The cottage was also comfortably furnished inside. There were also thoughtful things like hair dryers in every bathroom, a child gate for the stairs (our grandchildren were with us for a bit), and plenty of HANGERS (unusual for a rental). The location was also excellent. It is a short bike ride to the Beach Club pool or beach or a walk to the River Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks there and plan to go back next year!!

Well stocked and comfortable cottage. Loved the view from the porch, having the bikes available, and cozy surroundings. This rental was excellent.
