It was good. It was very cold since it was the basement apartment. The host requested the tenant to turn up the heat upstairs and it was slightly warmer. The iron/ironing board was missing. Overall, it was a good experience and stay. The host was very responsive to all communication.
Great location for my needs on this trip. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! Nice and hot and great water flow. Overall a great stay, I would definitely recommend!
I book this property for visiting my sister in Seattle and it also was my 25th birthday trip that my mom and dad payed for it as a birthday present. I'm originally from North Carolina so in no way shape or form I'm used to the cold. I get to this person's place and right off the bat these pictures were taking when they made this place not recently. I was there in total for about 3 hours before I booked a hotel for the rest of my stay on my own credit card. I understand it's cold in Seattle but the place you sleep should accommodate since you are paying to be there. I nicely asked for some extra thick blankets. They didn't ask if it's cold down there or provide any extra blankets. I wasn't there long after because I was exhausted and extremely cold. Which now they are trying to spin as if I didn't give them "enough time to solve the issue" which doesn't make sense when they simply denied and told me "if there was anything else I needed just let them know". So far in the refund process Vrbo emailed me that the thermostat was at 70 and they were "in the process of turning it up". Don't risk staying here and actually go to Holiday Inn. There is one about 20 mins from this Vrbo and it has a jetted tub in your bathroom. There are probably a 100 properties you could find better then this one. The only "customer service" energy I got from them was defending their actions. Learn from me and don't believe they care about something as an important as warm.
Cute basement apartment. Nice and clean, and super quiet. Convenient location for zipping around the city. Well stocked with everything we needed.Heads up, the oven runs HOT, but baked our frozen pizzas awesome once we turned it way down. Some good safe green spaces next to, but walled off from the freeway to walk our dog.
Our host was welcoming and helpful. They provided a wonderful online guide for both the apartment and the city. We were visiting our daughter for the holidays and this apartment was in a perfect location to spend time with her during the holidays. The apartment was also ideally located to enjoy the U District, Green Lake, and Ballard. Relatively easy access to downtown.
This was very spacious for just me. You could probably fit 3 people comfortably in this spot. The neighborhood parking is on both sides of the narrow street, so I am thankful that there was also a parking spot by the garage.
This spot was perfect distance from the venues I attended over the weekend trip (10 - 18 minutes). There is a gas station a couple blocks of a walk over as well, and to get back on the highway was super close too.
I like that there was a washer and dryer in the bathroom along with laundry pods.
The backyard was super cute with all the string lights, but I wasn't able to use it due to the constant rain fall when I was visiting.
The door is a keypad, which is very convenient for getting in and out of the place as well.
Overall, I would book here again and would recommend it to others.
