Wild Turkey Cabin in Hocking Hills

Wild Turkey Cabin is a log cabin with a private bedroom and a loft. Sleeps 4. Located on 70 wooded acres. Loft with full bed and a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom with smart TV. Enjoy a day of hiking and wind down in a private hot tub, while enjoying the sounds of nature. We offer a large deck with a gas grill and fire ring. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy a getaway for couples or families. Surrounded by the beauty of Hocking Hills, nature abounds at Wild Turkey Cabin. Cabin is located on a private/no outlet drive which is secluded & quiet. We are pet friendly with a 2 dog limit and a $50 pet fee. Approximately 10 minutes to Old Mans Cave or Ash Cave waterfalls. Close proximity to other Hocking Hills State Parks. Logan, Ohio is a short 20 minute drive. We are centrally located to all kinds of recreational activities.

When we arrived to the cabin we noticed a very musty smell inside. The walls appeared wet in some spots. When taking a look around the nob to the shower was sitting on the toilet. We brushed them off as these were small things. Then later we tried to grill and the grill flame would not turn up higher than the lowest setting so we then ran out to get charcoal for the charcoal grill. On our first night we couldn’t get the jets to work in the hot tub, at this point we call maintenance. They come to fix the nob in the shower, and tell us they got the jets to work in the hot tub but the electrical looks chewed and it wouldn’t be safe to use and mentioned a partial refund. HUGE bummer as that’s a big reason why we booked this cabin. We still enjoyed our local plans and adventures. So on our last day we call to say we’re checking out a bit early and asked about the partial refund that was mentioned by maintenance because we never got to use the hot tub, they proceeded to tell me maintenance came back the following morning and fixed the hot tub. We never seen maintenance, never talked to anyone or received a call, message, anything. Last thing we were told is that it was unsafe for an electrical issue. They said that we were even at the cabin when maintenance came to fix it, why did they never make contact with us to say it was now safe and able to be used? We never seen them, heard them, our dogs never even heard them. Very disappointed with that aspect of our stay.

Nice, but getting outdated.This is the second time we've booked this cabin and we really like the privacy and distance from the Hocking Hills main park. However, a number of features about the cabin are starting to show age. I luckily happened to have tools capable of reattaching the bathroom handle after it fell off during our stay.

The cabin is very cute and well equipped. The hot tub was wonderful.We will definately stay again.

Our stay was restful and very enjoyable. The young adults loved the hot tub.There are a few maintenance items to take care of but over all a really nice place.

We enjoyed our stay! A few minor things that needed to be fixed such as the fan not working but overall it was great! Clean, cute, comfy. The hot tub was great. The location of the cabin was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do and close to two restaurants! We will definitely be back!

Cute little cabin. Nice hot tub to soak in after a days hike. Only downfall was there was no hand soap in the container in the bathroom, the bedroom tv wasnt set up, and there was a clump of dog hair on the floor when we got there. Beds were comfy and wifi was good. Overall a good experience

Memorial Day 2025

The wife and I stayed a few nights over the Memorial Day weekend and we were very pleased with this place. The cabins location couldn’t have been more perfect, within minutes of just about everything and still in the middle of nowhere on the top of the mountain. We enjoyed the hot tub and listening to the wildlife at night. Wish we would have stayed longer. A few little upgrades that would made this a perfect 10
 A dimmer switch on the kitchen light, and some cleaner and more comfortable back patio furniture, otherwise an absolute dream of a cabin.

Mothers Day

My daughter and I stayed with her dog Daisy. The chalet was very clean. It was raining but we decided to use the hot tub anyway. It was awesome. Used hot tub every day. We hiked all the Hocking Hills trails twice. Very pretty. Loved the caves and waterfalls. Ate at pizza place near by. It was good. Also went to Brewery 33 and that was awesome. Would definitely stay again. Great vacation

Cozy and dog friendly

This cabin was perfect for us and our trip with our 2 dogs. It was very clean and cozy, plus close to all the Hocking Hills sights. It was nice to be more secluded and in a quiet location. My only suggtion for the host is it would be nice to ave one more bigger cooking pot. We like to cook to save money and it was a little challenging to make spaghetti in the tiny pot.

Almost perfect

We really enjoyed our time there, the hot tub, the cleanliness of the cabin. The only thing we were pretty upset about was the fact that the lock on the back sliding door does not work. We were not made aware of that. That being said, we had an incident where we were locked out and our kids were inside asleep. Our 7 year old son had to be woken up by us yelling for him at his window to let us in the front door. A stick had fallen in the track of the sliding door causing it to not open. It had been in there because of the door lock not working as a way for guests to “lock” the door. We didn’t know the stick was in there. The entire situation could’ve been very bad, thankfully it wasn’t worse. Other than that incident, the stay was wonderful. Just booker beware of the back door.

Cozy, private cabin

Cute cabin tucked in the woods with lots of privacy. Beds are comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows. The hot tub wasn't the clearest, but it didn't stop us from enjoying it. The kitchen could use a little love, no potato peeler or large pot. I'm not sure if the fireplace works. We couldn't figure it out and reached out to the owner, who responded, but no one ever showed or followed up to assist. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Homie Cabin

We loved this cabin! Definitely going to book it again next year. Very homie vibes, makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Love the decorations, it's very private but not too far away from stuff. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

Great location & nice cabin but could have been better

The cabin itself was great and exactly what we were looking for. We booked it in February so having a hot tub was key for us - when we arrived the hot tub water was green so I messaged the host. They said it should get better within the next 30 min but if not to let them know. The next morning I messaged them and told them the water had gotten greener and it now had a green film on top. The host responded and said they would have someone come out. They came out so late that the hot tub did not reach a useable temperature so we could not even use the hot tub the second day. Kitchen had a lot useful dishes and grill was great, just wish we had a better experience with the hot tub.

Cabin was cozy and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our relaxing stay. Description says soap and toilet paper provided. Soap dispensers were both empty and toilet paper lasted about a day. Had to go out and buy both. Terrible lighting in living room area. Hot tub clorinater was empty.
