Wedding Weekend

The room and bathroom was very clean. The bed was somewhat comfortable. Suggest a mattress and comforter upgrade. The decor was very nice. Big screen TV. Plenty of shops within minutes. Reasonably priced. The building could use a "face lift". Overall a good stay.

Excellent customer service by the manager

The manager was excellent, she went out of her way to accommodate our arrival time. She was outstanding with communication. The room was somewhat dated but was very clean and definitely worth the money.

Nice Quiet One-Night Stay

Needed a place close to Mountain Creek to stay for a Spartan race I did over the weekend. This was a great place to stay, clean, close to a few restaurants, and Jackie the Manager was very friendly and nice. If I ever need a place to stay around this area again, I will book here if available.

The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating! I had messaged them and they took care of my needs before I arrived! Popular hotel chains have struggled with this issue! The room was extremely clean and cozy. I love a room with hardwood floors! The locals outside were an added touch and extremely helpful with recommendations !

Great place!

It was very obvious when we walked into our room, that this cute, quaint, retro Motel is a passion project for the owners.  They put a lot of effort into making the rooms comfortable, clean and one of a kind.  This is not your typical cookie cutter Motel experience.  Each room has a theme.  We stayed in the Pink room, with colorful towels, bed linens, curtains, etc.  The room had kitchy, retro elements such as a teal blue, retro style microwave and colorful artwork on the walls. The owner was so nice and accommodating to our request to check in early.  She even texted me with her personal number to check on us and let us know to contact her with any needs or requests. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here and highly recommend this Motel. A few suggestions -  A coffee maker in the room, although there is a Dunkin Donuts about a third of a mile up the road. Access to an Ice Machine. Note - They are in the process of remodeling the exterior.  I am sure when they are done it is going to be the cutest mid- century modern destination spot.

It’s a Gem!

The room has a clean and updated but retro vibe to it. It’s nice to stay in a place that’s not a chain hotel. It reminds me of places that we stayed in the 70’s (but with modern conveniences) when we traveled as a family. The owners are painting the exterior soon. I hope that they keep the retro feel for the exterior.

Upon researching the property it appeared to have good reviews, but apparently there were different standards/ expectations from those reviewing. Upon check in the office was closed and phone number posted to call. We were given key and a very limited rundown of property. The door was only the lock on door handle that didn’t close all the way and one chain lock above. Felt uneasy about the door lock situation as it was an old door and didn’t feel completely shut. There was a bar or something in the plaza next door bc we heard loud music and loud trucks for hours. Couldn’t sleep bc the walls were so thin the TV for next room was on same wall as beds. There was also a weird constant radio playing. Never quiet and restful. The shower wasn’t very clean and the shower head sprayed all over making a water mess. People smoking outside made it smell and although rooms were “remodeled” it was stale smelling. The beds were flat with lumpy pillows and not much for covers , just thin blankets. It felt somewhat unsafe and no coffee maker or coffee, a simple amenity people appreciate. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt as many motels are being revamped but felt like this was not it.

Lovely updated rooms!

First impression of the outside of the building had me concerned but once I saw my room I was thrilled!!! Room was spotless, shower was great and bed was super comfortable! Wished there was a coffee maker but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Would stay here again!

We had a really good time here. We stayed here since it was close to Mountain Creek. The room was very nice and had nice amenities such as the spacious fridge with a freezer, microwave, and toiletries such as body wash and shampoo if you needed it. We also liked the smart tv too since we just signed into our apps. Overall the place was really nice and just like it’s pictures.
