Pictures displayed on booking selection were not what we got. No kitchen which was what was pictured. No powerpoint, no toilet roll holder or storage/benches in bathroom. Shower curtain mouldy on the bottom. Bathroom was for disabled. Beds in main living room which was weird and mattresses hard as. Smallest fridge with no freezer, no wine glasses, had to request new cups and a plate and knife for snacks. It was however quiet and a good location close to everything we needed. The room was clean other than the shower curtain. When we asked for a fix to the hard beds they responded quickly and were made comfortable. We were left a dishwashing sponge and a sachet of liquid to clean cups and spoons ourselves but nowhere to clean them and no tea towel. There was no hand soap in the bathroom either.

There are definitely areas for improvement at this property. It was one of the cheaper options in the area, so you get what you pay for. Biggest issue was the mattress in the main bedroom - so hard it felt like you were sleeping on a plank of wood. The owner did reach out for feedback and stated it’s only recently been taken over by them and improvements are on the way. Location was absolutely perfect, close to darling harbour, Chinatown, ferries, train and trams. Definitely the best part of the hotel is where it’s located!

Overall this stay was a bit of a disappointment. Not a 4-star hotel. Check-in was late, we didn’t get into our room until well after check in time. They comp’d us some wine and chocs for the kids which was nice. Room was pretty spartan. No toilet roll holders which was weird. No soap. Had to ask. Went for a swim with the kids but the heated pool was cold, as was the jacuzzi which was dead cold. Water outage meant no water in the showers by the pool either. Disappointed as pool was a key reason we booked this hotel. Location is good though, great access to Darling Harbour

There was no soap, body wash and shampoo in my room. I rented a car so had to use one night parking. The chased me to pay the $40 parking even though my check out was not until 3 days later and I have previously acknowledged the payment. Last thing you need when enjoying dinner out is to be called by the hotel staff to pay for $40 when you are still a guess (it's not like I had run away without paying!)

Unsafe, Filthy, and Disrespectful

Easily the worst hotel experience of my life. From the start, a loud whistling kept us awake. The next day, without notice, the building blasted a fire alarm test for hours while we were jetlagged and sick. The room was filthy — dust everywhere, hairs in the shower, torn carpets, and today we even found a spoiled children’s milk bottle under the couch. To make matters worse, the dryer was dangerously installed upside down — confirmed by other guests too. A serious fire risk. When we raised these concerns, the hotel’s response was to offer a room switch for the final 2 nights of our 7-night stay and a bottle of wine. An insulting, irrational response to a string of safety hazards and appalling hygiene. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great stay close to what we needed to do. Staff were all pleasant and very helpful Good communication prior to arrival. Parking is available but definitely only for small to medium cars. Bed was comfy and room amenities very good.

We stayed in Sydney 3 nights and had a good stay. It us very central to where we had to go and easy to get publuc transport. The only issue we found was the shower cubicle was very small and the beds were quite hard.

Great hotel

Wonderful hotel, excellent location in the heart of a bustling area, near transit, and near everything we needed to be near as a family. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was good for making some breakfast and a few other meals- minimal kitchen stuff but enough to make it work- would have been easy enough to have a dish towel that would have been helpful. Kids loved the pool and hot tub except the last day something was wrong with it as it was all dirty, but most of the time it was great. Would definitely stay again,

Nice Hotel at central location

Hotel is very clean and room with extra space at great location. Walking distance to all attractions. 2 supermarkets just few hundred meters away from hotel. Front desk with couches and coffee station. Friendly customer service with luggage keeping.
