Had a nice time. Met the owner and he explained parking process. The kitchen was large and had plenty of dishes etc. Providing an apron would have been nice. Being located above and beside a couple of downtown bars wasnât too bad. The noise level calmed down after midnight. The revving of cars was loud. I embarrassed it as an experience.
Traveled from Tulsa to Tacoma for a week's stay and so enjoyed the proximity of this location as a hub for our PNW day-trips, e.g., Port Orchard foot-ferry to downtown Seattle, Owen Beach, etc. Also, we found access to downtown rail, bus and trolley system just a quick/short walk.
Hospitality: Host made the check-in process easy, communicating early and as needed over the course of our stay. Arrived to find wonderful kitchen-living setup for hosting friends/family and updated appliances, including full washer/dryer-dedicated laundry room. Especially appreciated the AC as the temp in Tacoma rose to Tulsa-like conditions of 90+ degrees (an anomaly).
Would highly recommend this location for others.
We rented the apartment more for functional purposes for myself and my managers to be close to a new business opening. the apartment was in a great location. The host was accommodating and responsive to requests. The appliances were great, kitchen well stocked. There is nightlife below but the bedroom is situated in the back of the apartment where it is quiet. Good restaurants close and a park within a block. It's a great spot.
