Hotel Wellintown Dark

I flew into San Diego and the weather was bad so they diverted us to Las Vegas. Later, we finally arrived in San Diego and I crossed the border to Tijuana. I showed up at Hotel Wellintown and the entire hotel was dark with no electricity. Centro and Zona Norte had no power! They offered to take me to their sister hotel called West Plaza and upgraded me to a huge and comfortable suite!

Staff is very attentive to guests. I didn’t like the extra charges for example early check in or at check out the sheet was dirty so another extra charge. Room was a little tight but very clean and comfortable.

There was no VIP treatment, they offered 200 pesos after we checked out. The air conditioning broke in the middle of the night stay. After asking for assistance from the staff and they said they would come back. Never came back!

The place is really nice and clean quite walking distance to a lot of places and the staff friendly specially the manager ( Guillermo Jatay)is the best i had issue he handle it professionally and he solved it i recommend this place !
