US/MX border via the beautiful Scenic Road #1, it is only 10 minutes south of Rosarito Beach!

Many residents live year-round in exclusive Las Gaviotas, making for

will feel blissfully at home as you enter through the gate and pass by the
lovingly maintained flower gardens and common areas! It is a place of
incredible beauty with the magnificent Pacific Ocean as its
backdrop! No wonder, Fox Studios chose this area to film the movie
Titanic and Master & Commander! Within a picture perfect setting
you will be treated to pelicans, dolphins, whales (Jan-March) and
unforgettable sunrises and sunsets ... and that's just the beginning!

You’ll stay in a FOUR-bedroom, four-bath, non-smoking property featuring three completely separate master suites, known as 'La Casa de La Playa'! This 3000(+)square-feet of luxurious comfort and functionality offers a sweeping, unobstructed 180-degree beautiful whitewater/ocean view, the warm breeze and some of the most stunning sunsets anywhere in the world! There's a fully stocked kitchen for all those that like to cook, along with a 52 inch television and DVD player in the large family room to watch movies or the big game! Not only is there a thirty foot plus carport but also a two car garage to park in or use as your surf board prep area!

Indulge yourself with the Las Gaviotas experience. Relax with the mild, year-round climate, clean air, fresh ocean breezes, and warm sunshine. You may choose private walks, relaxing evening swims, or the night life of Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village (2 miles South of LG) or Rosarito Beach nearby. Two excellent golf courses (BajaMar and the Real Del Mar) are within 20 minutes. Private tennis and a beach front recreational complex are at your disposal within the walls of the resort.

A team of full-time groundskeepers display their pride with garden areas of flowers and bougainvillea that spill over flagstone paths leading to the ocean. Be captivated by the abundant sea life and the seasonal appearance of schools of dolphin, migrating whales, as well as hundreds of pelicans and swallows. From the moment you enter the gates you can sense why hundreds of visitors return every year and enjoy our beachfront paradise...

Beautiful Home and Area

The house was beautiful. Met and exceeded our expectations. Loved that Netflix and other streaming services were already available and loaded on the TV. Easily big enough for two families. Well stocked with the essentials and very clean.

Las Gaviotas Fun

Great property! There is plenty of room for two families in the common areas. The house is on the second road off of the ocean so it doesn't sit right on the highway which is nice. We had a great time cooking, playing games, and visiting the beach. The owner is very responsive and helpful!

Family reunion

Perfect place for our family group of 7. We loved the patio overlooking the ocean, the community pool/hot tub option and the security of the property. Max was extremely responsive! My only negative is the downstairs bedroom is very stuffy and never cooled down. It definitely could use an AC in that room (an AC split). The other rooms could use one as well. Overall, fantastic place.

Nice Location

The house was plenty big for the 8 of us (2 families). Everything we needed in the kitchen. The living room had comfortable couches. Nice patio to eat and hang out and watch the sunset. You can see the water from the balcony. Easy walk to the ocean/surf. Garage was convenient to keep all beach gear in. Outdoor shower was a plus. The only complaint is the downstairs master bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, we would love to stay again. Can’t wait to return.

Long weekend in Gaviotas

My friends and I had a great long weekend in Max’s villa by the beach. We loved being able to walk to the water, utilize the community tennis court and jacuzzi. The house slept 8 couple comfortably, pushing two beds together in one bedroom. Having four separate full bathrooms was a plus as well.

beautiful house with great view

We had a great time. House was spacious and clean. Amazing ocean view from the deck. Short walk to the pool and beach. Covered and garage parking is a plus. Felt very safe. Only downside was a very hard and uncomfortable mattress in downstairs queen bed. Otherwise we had a great trip and would stay again.

Great stay

The place was wonderful, it was right by the beach, everything about it was great! Only thing I don’t recommend is bringing large groups(8). Can’t even whisper without security being on you about it after 10pm. They seem to pick and choose who to be strict with. Once they have it for you, they will constantly harass you about anything. There were other groups past 10pm at night in their balconies and they would not tell them anything. Just an FYI. But other than that, I do recommended Max’s place for a more chill, quite, mellow type of trip/environment.

Great Place, I'd Visit Again !

Great place !!! Very comfortable, great ocean view even though it's 2 rows of houses from the ocean. A little bit of a walk if you are lugging surf boards, but really not a deal breaker. The house was clean, cozy and served us well.
