Nice hotel with lots of positives. Unfortunately there is a lot of work going on around and inside the hotel right now. I had no TV in my room on one day and the parking lot entrance is a bit of an issue.

Property was very poor compared to the website.. restaurant was extremely expensive and the hotel was in poor shape.. as well as the exterior property. Was not informed about the exterior work being performed. No decent amenities around the property. And I was signed up for the hotels rewards program without my consent. Everything was good except that the remote control was missing from the room. The front desk was very responsive in getting it to us. The guy at the reception desk was especially helpful and friendly.

Loved my stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Toronto, during my 5 day stay, as I was in town to attend TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). I was amazed at the cost of this hotel that it was affordable for me, especially booking near the last minute too. I loved everything about it, especially the shuttle bus transportation to and from the hotel to the airport. It was very convenient for me to have a shuttle available for me, especially to go to downtown Toronto, where it drops you off at the airport, and you then just take a train to Union Station. As for the room: it was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I wasn't there a lot, as I was out and about at TIFF for 12 hours a day, but when I got back, it was so comfortable. The showers and bathroom were awesome, clean and well maintained, and the bed was so comfy, I was able to get a good night sleep. I ate at the hotel restuarant only on my first night, and the food was great! I noticed a number of people ordered room service too, which I would've done as well. The staff were amazing, as they were nice, courteous and helpful. I arrived at 7 am, and since I couldn't check in so early, they let me leave my bags with them safely, and even change clothes in the lobby bathroom. They also let me leave my bags with them when I checked out, as my flight wasn't until 7 pm, so I went back to downtown Toronto. Highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for everything and making my stay memorable!

I chose Crowne Plaza as I know the brand and have stayed at some of their other hotels around the hotel. My room was ok. My only comment is as a four star hotel - there is no bidet in the bathroom. It’s been a long time since I was in a hotel and this is not part of the bathroom in all my worldwide travels. And the toilet is in a very tight position - I’m curious if a guest is ++ size do they book them into a different bathroom set up? Also the view. I was working a lot from the desk. Why is 1/2 the wall where a window is meant to be a wall? From what I could tell from the window view I had there is no building blocking so why only have 1/2 the wall with a window? It would’ve been nice to be able to open the curtain and have full view outside.
