Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Sheets were dirty upon arrival full of crumbs and pubic hair on the fitted sheet. Took photos for manager. Found when I pulled back covers. Called staff. Staff changed my room entirely instead of actually just cleaning it. ..after I already unpacked arriving at 11:00pm at night after a 4.5 hour drive. Staff berated me. Asked what I do for a living. Asked in condescending tone with eyebrows raised - have You ever stayed in an upgraded room anywhere. She was upgrading my room. My upgrade was a room with a heater that cracked and popped and squealed all night. I thought it would catch fire from sounds it made and turned it off and froze all night and the next night instead. A fridge that squealed and tile so uneven in the shower drain it cut my foot. The pillows in Both rooms strongly smelled of body odour.
Knowing I’d be met with more attitude and poor service I laid my sweatshirt over the pillows and didnt call requesting anything again until checkout.
I only go to this hotel so I can go shopping at the Vaughan mills mall. It’s directly next to it.
When checking out the manager said he would suspend the worker during the holidays while I insisted he not do that and coach his staff better instead. Nothing offered to me but a coffee to hit the road with. I’ve stayed here multiple times and I’ll never come back again after such disrespect and poor service as well as unclean dwellings.
