Booked one night in standard double. Non “upgraded” room. Wall paper peeling off wall. Tub had quite a few dark hairs in it ( we re a blonde family…) Room was just incredibly dated . However. For the location /price and if you’re booking for just that and “ a place to sleep”. It’s decently priced. Pool was a bonus.

Based on the reviews of this hotel, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel shows its age, but the room was clean and spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable. No problems with the plumbing, and the blackout curtains were extremely effective. As some others have noted, there are no privacy curtains, and the room is quite dark with the drapes closed, but our room faced the back of the property, looking out into gorgeous fall foliage, so privacy wasn’t an issue. The climate control unit was loud, and we did find the room to be quite warm, but given the outside temperature, we were able to turn off the fan completely and we were very comfortable. Staff were all lovely. A special thank you to the server in the lobby bar, who kindly lent us some glasses so we could enjoy a cold beer in our room watching the Blue Jays win game 1 of the World Series.

Staff were very welcoming and the location is great, parking was easy as well. King bed was nice and comfy but unfortunately the gym was terrible all the cardio machines had something wrong with them and no warm up so didn’t even look at the weights. Also the steam room was full of kids so again didn’t bother.
