We kindly request that you respect this policy during your stay. Failure to do so, will result in a 500 USD fine for guests.

*This is just a friendly reminder that San Bernardino County Quiet Hours are from 9PM to 7AM nightly and are now in effect. Used of amplified sound and outside speakers should be avoided especially during quiet hours to avoid a complaint from the county. Any persistent noise heard beyond the edge of the property line could result in a fine from the city of at least $1000.

* Additionally, any late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a 100 USD fee.

A car is required for getting around.

Other Things to Note:
Loma Vista is located in the remote area of Desert Heights in Joshua Tree. The property is accessible via a dirt road for approximately 3 miles, the bumpy drive is worthwhile when you see the picturesque views. SUVs, pick-up trucks, and vehicles with raised ground clearance are most suitable for the road. Cars that are low to the ground are not ideal. The property is centrally located between Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms, a 25-minute drive to either the West or North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, and a 20-minute drive to either Joshua Tree or Twentynine Palms shops, restaurants, and galleries.

◦ THINGS TO NOTE:
Fenced yard: Fully fenced
Cell phone coverage: T-Mobile may some times have issues with cell coverage
Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: Dirt roads, some spots may be difficult for low riding cars
Outdoor Surveillance: We have an outdoor security cameras. NO cameras are located inside the property.

◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat.

◦ Authorized early check-in and late check-out are available at $50 per hour

◦ Additionally, any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee

◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address

◦ RULES:
Noise ordinance:
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine.

◦ SMOKING POLICY
No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees

◦ Restricted Areas:
Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.

◦ Hot Tub/Pool:
Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.
Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.
Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.
Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.

◦ Photoshoots & Video:
No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR POOL & HOT TUB
✦ The pool heating is available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
✦ The pool can be heated to 90 degrees and the fee is $100/day to cover propane costs. Kindly notify us 24 hours in advance if you wish to heat the pool.
✦ The pool and hot tub are serviced every Tuesday by our pool guy who will access the backyard and will be in and out quickly. Usually, guests don’t even notice him, but just a heads up in case you see him servicing the pool and spa.
✦ The hot tub is heated for guests for free and will be on throughout your stay.

POOL & HOT TUB RULES

✦ Children must be supervised at all times
✦ We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries
