Book Cheap Hotels in Unorganized Thunder Bay District

"I did not actually stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I would still like to give them a 5-star review because of their excellent customer service. A few hours before I was scheduled to arrive, I got a call from the hotel, advising my that the A/C in my room was not working and that the problem would not be resolved before I arrived. Since the forecast called for hot and humid weather, the hotel offered me a reduced rate or the option to cancel without penalty. (They could not offer me a different room as they were fully booked that night.) After conferring with my husband, we decided to cancel our reservation. I was disappointed that we could not stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I was very grateful that they notified us proactively, so that we could make other arrangements. After such outstanding customer service, I will certainly plan to stay at the Courthouse Hotel on my next visit to Thunder Bay!"

"Jackfish Lake Cabins has earned a new regular! We had a wonderful 3-night stay in August. Cabins included a fully-stocked kitchen which we utilized to make two dinners and daily breakfasts, including using the shared outdoor grill (make sure you purchase groceries in advance as nearby stores are limited in selection and hours). Brenda went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Location was convenient for nearby hiking and attractions, and the property was well-lit. Bathroom water pressure and consistent hot water was excellent. We will be back!"

"Super lovely accommodations that are designed and stocked with thought & care. My dad LOVED the shower (he made me type that but in fact, it was pretty great!) Communication with Katie was seamless and so was checking in and out. The place was super clean and stocked with everything we needed (and then some). There’s also a great little walk out where you can sit peacefully & dine. Rossport is a beautiful place to stay and we loved these accommodations! "
