CĂ Cornelia top-notch peculiarity is its large terrace on the rooftop. The elegance of the decors and the history of its former owner, the famous opera singer Donna Cornelia, makes this place unique in its kind. Two large bed-rooms, two bathrooms, the amazing living-room and the attic with terrace, allow you a perfect stay in Venice. CĂ Cornelia is centrally located, few minutes away from Accademia and Museum mile, San Marco and the coolest area of Santa Margherita. This is the place to be.
Once inside, the brightness is dazzling. The 4 windows of the living-room and kitchen area are all south-exposed, so the light floods in constantly for all the day long. The high ceiling with wooden beams makes the environment so typical and stylish and the wall finishings and decors enable that particular, unique charm that speaks about the city. The bed-rooms, on the other hand, are warmed up by the colors of the typical Venetian style, Tintoretto's red and Indigo blue characterize the rooms together with functional, but sophisticated furnishings and attention to detail that brings back to the life of Donna Cornelia, the famous singer, the owner's grandmother. Everything speaks about music and beauty and of a woman who has made her life a hymn to emancipation and love for the family. Going up to the attic floor, where we find a studio with a relaxing Futon and a smart work desktop, we will find ourselves on a terrace of exceptional size and exposure, from which we will be able to admire a breath-taking sunset and drink the best Prosecco, offered by the host. There is nothing better than relaxing and having an aperitif after a day of wandering around the beauty of the city. Two functional well-equipped bathrooms with large showers complete the apartment layout. Hi-speed Wi-Fi, AC system, custom-made playlists on Spotify through a Marshall bluetooth speaker and amenities, will make your stay unforgettable.

Beautiful Clean Modern Venetian Apt, Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at Ca Cornelia which was in a great location. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all things needed to cook and serve a meal. We appreciated that there was coffee and coffee pot provided as well as tea. There was a washing machine, a drying rack and an iron. We enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor rooftop deck that was decorated with nice outdoor furniture, plants and trees. We had a wonderful stay and a pleasant interaction with the owner. Highly recommend!
Iliana and Andrea have created a beautiful apartment in a perfect Dusadoro location, quiet yet close to everything. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and especially the chic table settings as part of the welcome.
The best compliment I can offer is how the accommodation and design was a welcome respite from a day filled with site seeing and walking.
We spent every morning with our coffee on the wonderful terrace upstairs.
I canât recommend this flat enough and it even passed the test of our 14 year old twins.
Truely looking forward to our next visit.
Ca Cornelia was a dream location for our few days in Venice (me, my husband, 22yo daughter and 18yo son)! In a comfortable and relaxed neighborhood setting yet just a 15-minute walk from St. Mark's Square and all sorts of tourist sites. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby (a great one literally 10 steps from the door of the building!), a grocery store a 5-minute walk away, and easily accessible to private water taxis at the San Trovaso dock (3-minute walk).
The apartment itself is absolutely perfect--plenty of space, modern amenities (USB chargers in the bedrooms! We didn't even need our adapters!) and decor, yet cozy and quaint with exposed wood beams and beautiful chandeliers. Our hosts Ilaria and Andrea were extremely helpful and accommodating, setting up a private water taxi from the airport (it didn't work out but that wasn't their fault!), and Andrea met us at the apt at check-in to go over details such as keys, wifi, nearby restaurants and sites, etc., and collect the Venice tourist tax. Everything worked seamlessly. Ilaria and Andrea also left us a couple of sodas, full water bottles and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. :)
I can't leave a review without mentioning the rooftop terrace--what a luxury to be able to read, have coffee, just enjoy the beautiful Venice climate, amid planters of fruit trees and beautiful flowering plants. Everything about this apt was exactly as expected, and was a welcome place to return after a day of sightseeing all over Venice.
