This was one of the best rentals that we have ever stayed in. We chose it due to the proximity to the train station (literally right across the bridge) and we were blown away by the apartment, view, decor, and space. We were a family of 6 and there was plenty of room to spread out. Bathrooms great. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this place!
A rep met us at the train station and walked us across the bridge to the apartment, which we really appreciated! She gave us a tour, set us up on WIFI, and showed us the check out process. The apartment is beautiful with a long balcony that overlooks the Grand Canal & a side canal. The building has a lift, which was very helpful to get our cruise luggage to the apartment. The online description is spot-on. but the beds in the big secondary bedroom has very thin mattresses. If this important to your travel party, be advised. While we were in Venice, it was HOT! The AC is what youâd expect in Europe. If there were fans in each room, it would make hot days & nights tolerable. If you stay here, make sure you pull down the exterior blinds to keep it cooler. The ânegativesâ - the salon/living room only has one loveseat, but thereâs a dining table/chairs for gathering the group. The bathrooms are well-appointed, but the bathtub is really narrow & the plug didnât work while we were there. It was only 2 nights, so we didnât have a chance to report it and for them to fix it.The location was perfect for us - across from the train station & less than 10 minutes & 2 small bridges to the bus area. We walked to a COOP (grocery store) through small neighborhoods and with great restaurants. Itâs about 20 min walk to the Rialto area, and we loved not being in the center of the crowded touristy areas. Iâd absolutely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.
The location and views were perfect and the convenience to the train station couldnât be beat. The check-in process was easy and pictures were provided to help with any confusion. The only real issues were the comfort of beds and pillows. The bed in the room with the âplatformâ was so thin, it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. It could definitely use a mattress topper or a new mattress. A recommendation would be to have a Wi-Fi extender so that Wi-Fi could be used in the bedrooms on the other side of the apartment. I would stay here again, but with just less people so I could have a more comfortable bed.
