Our check in was awesome (I believe his name was Tony from Moldova). I was very very happy with the room, the bathroom was fully renovated and had one of the best showers I have had in Europe. It was close to the airport and they have a shuttle service - 20 Euro - for the three of us. The breakfast was very good, and it was an ideal place to stay for the last night in Italy before flying out. I would stay there again for sure if there was an opportunity. They have a swimming pool which I would have liked to spend more time with.

Excellent location: 10 min walk to airport, breakfast really good: full breakfast, not just a croissant, staff very helpful and hotel shuttle to airport. 15 minute bus to Venice just a block away.

It's a beautiful, quaint and very Italian hotel. The shuttle service is convenient. We used it to get to our cruise ship and to the airport. I highly recommend the Venice Resort Hotel.

The food was incredibly disappointing and just not good in general. The breakfast was ok, but dinner the night before from "the restaurant" was terrible. The server *is* the chef and the quality was equivalent to something I'd get at a really, really cheap Italian restaurant in the US. Also, the air conditioning barely worked in our room and the pool was not heated. For a place that calls itself a "resort" I expected much better and would NOT stay here again!
