Welcome to Verges!
You are in the heart of the Empordà, in a 12th century house, part of the "Castillo de Verges". We wanted to give this place steeped in history the comfort of a holiday home combined with the expression of our artistic sensibilities. The colors are ubiquitous, the lighting moods are impacting. Artistic expression is here everywhere. An exceptional place at the crossroads between sea and countryside, preserved from the tumult of large seaside areas.


You like places of character with bold decorative choices.
The house of about 300m2, former residence of the local nobility, heritage of the Middle Ages, will be your place of residence. Colors, ethnic, cultural or cult influences, we have brought our sensitive and artistic vision to this space to make it an exceptional place.
You want a holiday in peace, near the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava, in a lush Mediterranean nature with Tuscan accents.
At the heart of "Empordànet", a region often considered by Catalans as the secret treasure of Catalonia, you are in Verges: its church, its bell tower, its place, its café, its shops. (2 mini markets, 1 bakery, 2 butchers, 2 banks, 1 pharmacy, 1 tobacconist and 5 bars / restaurants).
On the sea side, whether you like the wide beaches of dunes or the small coves with crystal clear waters, all the choices are available here. You will also have the opportunity to practice all kinds of sports and marine activities: windsurfing, kitesurfing (very good spots nearby), diving, snorkelling, kayaking ...
On the Land side, the region offers a plethora of fabulous natural panoramas, punctuated by the presence of villages with medieval paces incredibly maintained or incredibly restored (Peratallada, Pals, Empories ...). You will be able to combine the discovery of an often authentic peasant gastronomy (we will try to help you :)).
Here too, there are many activities: walking, cycling, horse riding, climbing, exploring the region in a balloon ...
You are 35 minutes from Girona (by car or bus from Girona Central Station).
The city center near the Cathedral is to discover for a walk and possibly identify the places that served as a backdrop for important episodes of the Game of Thrones series.
Figueras and the Dali Museum are 30 minutes by car.
It will take 1 hour to Cadaqués, Port Lligat (the home of Dalí that can be visited).
From Barcelona: 40 minutes with the TGV to Girona is about 2 hours with the bus.


The entrance to the house is Carrer Portal, below the small bridge inlaid with a virgin ("verge" in Catalan), which connected the two sides of the alley.
The turquoise staircase leads you upstairs in the living room with golden ceiling.
A place of conviviality or rest ... The living room distributes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each room has its own decoration mixing colors, lights, decorative cultural or religious objects. The stairs "naranja" will allow you to access the kitchen and dining room, open on the large terrace suitable for sunbathing, lunches, family dinners in peace. The second panoramic terrace is accessible from a last staircase. It is the ideal place to admire the surrounding landscape, up to the Pyrenees, the sunrises / sunsets, the starry space and the tremendous variances of colors of the sky.

Ground floor: workshop and office (private part) independent of the house.
ENTRANCE HOUSE: on Carrer del Portal; independent of the workshop.
FLOOR 1: living room, bedrooms (x3), bathrooms (x2) and balcony overlooking Plaça.
FLOOR 2: kitchen / dining area, large terrace 70m2.
FLOOR 3: Panoramic terrace on the whole Emporda


Graphic designer and artist, we live and work at home.
Our workshop is on the ground floor of the house, entrance Plaça Major.

You can easily park for free near the house.
AMPSA bus from Girona to Verges direction L'Estartit from the train station.
The bus station is right next to the TGV station.
By car: from Girona, about 35 minutes. From Barcelona, ​​around 2h.
