Book a hotel near Vernon Worthen Park, Mesquite

"The air conditioner was extremely noisy, the stairs to the 2nd floor we steep and for elderly people not super safe. Room was clean but missing a pillow and could also hear all of the people walking outside the room. The door was lacking sealing and allowed the noise and light in"

"Supposedly they were updating the rooms at Casa Blanca however, you are lucky if you actually get an updated room! The only time that I have actually stayed in a nice room there was when I booked through the Casa Blanca Website. If you book through Expedia, they give you an old worn out room. The air conditioning units make horrible noise even when they are working. The bathrooms are moldy, counter tops are chipped, flooring is worn and stained, linens are dingy and mattresses/pillows are old. "

"Located conveniently, just off the interstate but up on a hill so there was no traffic noise. Restaurants nearby...we ordered pizza delivered. The area surrounding felt upscale, nice...may come back for a longer stay...also central to attractions/ National parks and Las Vegas."

"The hotel was ok. It is a reconditioned Holiday Inn on the room side so don't be fooled by the updated convention center they have added. Once you get into the hotel part of the hotel you get the old school low ceilings and tired look of the original hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It appears from pictures behind the front desk, that the hotel is significantly upgrading the pool area which would be welcome, but again the rooms themselves are small feeling. If I was in Mesquite again, I would look to find a hotel that feels more open and new in the actual hotel room."
