We were rather disappointed with the property. There were numerous maintenance issues, and the hosts didn't reply to either of the messages we sent reporting them. Here are those issues: -The code for the house door didn't work on the driveway side, only on the front side. -The shower drain is either severely clogged or too small, and water backs up so that you are standing in ankle-deep water while showering.-The toilet seat lid is completely broken and separated from the seat - The bathroom sink cabinet is peeling and separating in numerous places.- The shower light flickers nonstop and is not usable.-The light switch in 1 bedroom didn't work, nor did the bedside lamp.-The refrigerator light is out- The kitchen counter/drawer laminate is peeling off and broken in many areas. - The kitchen ceiling light is broken.- The kitchen flooring and all doors have numerous scratches, peeling paint, and the like.-The yard is not actually fully fenced- A large section of the wood fence has a large panel falling over into the neighbor’s yard- The backyard table and chairs in the picture are extremely old, dirty, broken, and unusable. There is no other lawn furniture or place to sit.- The backyard gate to the driveway is broken and doesnot fully close. I do not mind a home that is older and therefore shows wear and tear, but this home goes beyond that and is in need of some basic maintenance. Shame because it's a great location.

This house was in a beautiful neighborhood close to grocery stores and parks for our 2 year old son. The host took care of any questions and concerns we had in a manner. I would stay again with my family.

Our family stayed over for a Georgetown graduation. It is a nice cozy 3 bedroom house as listed that’s near Georgetown University, and is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood.

Nice cottage with all the necessities.

The cookware was awesome and the little yard was nice. Yard furniture was too rickety and not enough. Bathtub was slow to drain and shower curtain and rod needs replaced.

My Kingdom for a Shower

The location was excellent.Cleanliness excellent.Bed linens and setup of the 3 bedroom excellent.The shower was where it fell down. 2nd day shower was used only to find out that it meant showering in raising water (ankle deep before a 5 minute shower was completed). Called host, she knew it was an issue, sent someone over, punger/drano did not work. best solution was local rec center (11/person). Too bad, because everything else was excellent - just no one was happy to shower at the house.

Great Location for Exploring DC

The house is perfect as a base for exploring DC and Northern Virginia. A safe and friendly neighborhood, the park and ride parking lot is a short drive [East Falls Church] with the orange and silver lines taking you to all the top attractions. A modern, well equipped kitchen, good size bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of towels in the bathroom. We would book again.

Comfortable and Convenient

Excellent DC area locale without the hustle and hassle of downtown DC. The residential neighborhood is quiet, but supermarkets and eateries are as close as a half mile away. Nice local walks within about the same distance include a quiet park and Minor's Hill, the highest point in Arlington County, which is not a big deal but surprised this former county resident. With no car, we found the app rides more than adequate. House description was right on, and the host came over promptly with an additional item that we required. And vital for an August DC stay, we found the A/C, shower and washer/dryer superb.

Nice clean house in Arlington, good neighborhood too

We are actually from Arlington and needed a couple place to stay for the first week of a bathroom renovation. We luckily found this place, which was the way to our daughter’s school. The neighborhood is one of the best - quiet, safe, upscale, and near supermarkets & metro. House is nothing special from outside, but is well maintained and very clean on inside. Huge tv, nice picture window, nice bedrooms with cell charger, books, extra blankets. Kitchen is stocked with essentials - spices, coffee, tea, lots of pots/pans. There even is a first aid kit in the bathroom. Would stay here again if our renovations get delated.

Left property after a 1hr.

Property is in a nice location but this property is not maintained. Lawn and landscaping overgrown. Almost stepped in dog poop on lawn adjacent to driveway. House reeked of smoke, multiple ant traps in kitchen and bedroom. Active ants in bathroom and bedroom. Tried to contact host with no response- we left after 1hr. Had to make last minute reservation in hotel. One positive outcome was a VRBO representative reached out to us and refunded our payment.

Good experience but could have been better

We had a couple of issues occur, the cleaning lady came back in after we were checked in which was weird to us because we were not there and are stuff was. Our bedsheets werent clean other peoples hair was found in 2 of the 3 beds as well as some ants and crumbs. there was a playset out back but the grass was very high so it wouldnt exactly be great for kids to play on when you cant see whats in the yard. overall for us, it was a great location out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that you can go back and forth from DC pretty quickly. The house worked well for all 6 of us and has a well stocked kitchen to be able to cook and have the utensils needed. The owner was nice when i reported these things to her and I would still recommend staying here. I would again.

Great location

Terrific house in a beautiful neighborhood in north Arlington. We loved walking daily. Grocery stores and restaurants very close and easy to get to all the DC attractions. New windows in this older home meant it was super quiet at night. Well equipped kitchen made family meal prep easy. Appreciated our responsive host.
