Not a favorable experience. Came to check in at 9:30pm and Was unhappy with the room awful smell and not comfortable at all. Went to say will not be staying and then they tried to show me a little cleaner, updated room, still not acceptable, and they disputed a refund. Not a safe comfortable hotel. Less learned

Of all my research, this was the most affordable and cleanest lodging. I will stay here the next time I visit my sibling at Connecticut College too. I will say to bring your shower shoes and don't walk barefoot (just in general, the place was clean just old), and the room smelled heavily of perfume or strongly scented cleaning product. I was able to air it out by opening the windows. Also, the AC made the room feel uncomfortably damp, so I got by with the window open or it being cold enough at night to keep my window shut. There was a kitchenette, but no pan, sponge, plates, or silverware, etc. Microwave and mini fridge were very helpful. Location was near a Target, Walmart, McDonalds, Texas Roadhouse, and the highways.

Its a good place to spend a night if nothing else is available. Everything was clean and look nice nothing fancy. But the bed is like a hammock you cant lay or move without feeling like you're going to fall it moves completely. The couch in the room was bent in the middle. But cleanness is good.

Breakfast could be better with a few more options. Pool hours could have started earlier and gone later into the evening. A few more pool umbrellas would have been nice too. The pool was nice and clean though, a real treat.

We chose this motel for it's closeness to Mohegan Sun and we really wanted an outdoor pool for our weekend in August. The pool was great! Unexpected it was salt water which made us very happy. The pool was quiet, at most a dozen guests, and the water temp was perfect. The motel provided a continental breakfast which was just enough. Will definitely go back
