Good place to rest head for a night

Stayed for one night after flying into Calgary en route to waterton and glacier. Nothing fancy but clean and as advertised. Room was smaller motel-style but beds were comfy and no complaints. Breakfast was very good and a nice bonus. Staff was very friendly.

The property was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful when needed. I'll be honest in saying there was nothing spectacular about the stay, but most importantly, zero complaints. A little tidbit we enjoyed was the walking path that went around the river just a few blocks north.

The lodge looked like it was recently renovated and it showed, however, there were some minor deficiencies with a couple of sink faucets in the kitchen and bathroom which we believed to be the result of QC of the plumbing contractor. Otherwise, everything was fine. We booked an efficiency room on the second floor which was very clean and quiet. It was a hot day in Pincher Creek and we were thankful that the room was A/C cooled prior to our entry which was a nice touch. Just wish there were more dining choices in the area. We drove to a nearby restaurant but were disappointed that it closed at 4pm. Overall, we enjoyed our overnight stay at the Econolodge and would likely book again.
