The room is very clean. The balcony is not. the floor gives out stale oil on the floor,and there are 2 hornet's nests. it is not safe to go out. I still love this place and its beautiful beach

For the amount that we paid for this, I was expecting something not great. Boy was I shocked when we drove into the parking lot and the property is right on the lake. When we got into our room, we found a balcony that overlooked the water with great views of the sunset. When we drove in, I thought this was a bit out of the way to find out. We were only eight minutes from everything in town. It was a great day. The staff were wonderful. We loved going to the zoo tickets, which came with our room for free.

The Lakeview was beautiful. We didn't use the spa or indoor pool. Others were using it. The room could have been a lot cleaner. Staff was friendly.

Check in girl wasnt very nice..pool closed at 10:30. All the water stuff was put away..outside pool was drained..no coffee in lobby..rooms were diry..dust all over lights and pics..floors were very dirty. Check out was 10;30 am..and girl at desk was not nice at all..it was like they were being inconveniened..will not stay there again. Knats flying in room..

It was off season so outdoor pools were drained. Front desk personnel were ok, not overly friendly. Both different people checking in/out. Same. The bathroom is outdated but clean with hot water. There was a wall barrier between the twin beds. The bathroom sink is separate from the shower, which may be helpful for some.

Location is great, the access to waterfront specifically. Duck visitors were a delight. Stayed in the tiki rooms which have been renovated recently. Room for improvement on friendliness of staff (not cheerful at all except girl who was working am of 9/21/25 was super nice. Cleanliness of room biggest challenge. Not clean at all. Left over items from previous guest. I wiped everything down and my cloths were so dirty. Dirt on walls and furniture as well.

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were first in the Tikki suites, which is a straight up motel that smelled like a trailer and wasn’t clean. We upgraded to the hotel, which was slightly better but extremely noisy with thin walls and very itchy bedding, like the Tikki suites. Not sure if bed bugs or dust mites. Both my husband and I cannot stop itching.

We have good time at this property! Clean rooms, nice area and helpful stuff. Outside resting are so lovely you can make grill and enjoy lake view! Also my kid enjoyed inside pool and playground!
