This is the most expensive hotel in york. When i called to have the sofa bed made for my son in our suite, O was informed there was a bed in a bag in the closet but housekeeping was gone and there was no one to make up the bed for us. The food and food service was excellent. The hotel being downtown also meant sirens all hrs of the night which my wife couldnt sleep through. The hotel is very pretty and the rooftop bar was neat but they definitely need a TV inside the bar area.

Still my favorite place to stay while in York. A Flagship in the Hilton collection. Best feature is the proximity to many different cuisines all within walking distance of the hotel. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable and are the key to a comfortable stay.

Hotel lovel- difficult for families

We arrived at 11:30pm on a Friday for a 8am event at the expo ctr. For an exhausted mom, this was not a great hotel. Parking was beyond challenging. The breakfast takes some time. I do not recommend this hotel for families. Every single person in the family needs their own key card

Ok, I’m Awake Now

Solid hotel. Great job of mixing modern with historic. Maybe it’s a Karen level complaint, but I was jet lagged and the housekeeping ignored the “Do not disturb” on the door and pounded on it while we were asleep. Seems like common sense not to do that. But, all of the other staff we crossed paths with were outstanding.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay. Only problem was on the hallway floor there was a cigar butt and hair ties on the floor when we got there and still there when we left. Our room was clean however.
