Nice play to stay, but we never got our room cleaned, we stayed 2 nights. No many food options close to hotel. Breakfast it is limited.

Great place to stay

Very prompt free friendly shuttle from the airport. They even shuttled us for free to the hotel where our tour was staring from the next morning. It is about a 15 minute drive from ANC. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean. Breakfast consisted of eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Cold options were breads, muffins, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit juice and coffee. Eating area is very small with three tables and two couches but you could bring food back to room. The cost couldn’t be beat and was an excellent value for the short stay we needed before our land tour started. We would stay here again

Beds were good, but pillows were very thin. In a rougher end of the city in terms of surroundings, but didn't feel unsafe. They did provide hot and cold breakfast options. Bathroom needs updating. Wifi and TV good.

Budget friendly, clean and comfortable

I chose this hotel because it was inexpensive. It is about 5 minutes from downtown. They offer a free shuttle to airport and downtown which was very nice. Only one van runs most of the time so if you are short on time this is an issue. They had muffins and coffee at 5:30 so we could grab something quick before we took off for the railroad station. Restaurant next door had a wonderful prime rib dinner. I would stay here again for a quick stop in Anchorage.

This is very much a motel over an inn. The rooms we stayed in were large and comfortable. Something we didn't expect was an included breakfast. Hot foods included eggs, hash brown potatoes, and quartered sausage patties. They also had cereal, muffins, hard boiled eggs, and bread for toast with butter and jellies along with a coffee and spot that was available 24/7. It wasn't the greatest, yet it was functional. The location is right next to the Merrill Field Airport making it easy to get to a chartered flight the next day. Otherwise, not much is around that would interest someone on a vacation. While the staff were friendly, our room was never serviced by housekeeping. We even requested on one occasion with no luck and ended up having to pick up new towels and bath supplies at the end of the day.

They offer twenty four hour shuttle service to and from the airport. The shuttle service was also available for going to a restaurant and being picked up from the restaurant. We loved eating at Simon in Seaforts - one of the staffs' recommendations. The view was great and so was the food. We weren't able to eat in the restaurant, but ate in the bar where we got a cozy little table with no wait - same food as the restaurant. If you are thinking of eating here, make a reservation in advance.If possible.

Needed a place for one night and didn’t expect it to be fancy, but the carpet was so dirty we didn’t dare take our socks off. The bed was uncomfortable and if one of us moved the whole thing moved. The property surroundings didn’t feel completely safe. That being said, the bathroom was large, the shower was nice, and there was a cold breakfast that included hard boiled eggs.

This is an older hotel and the rooms show it but the place was clean and the pick up at the airport and shuttling us other places was top notch! Say hello to Anthony!! The staff were super friendly and helpful and we felt at home. Stayed there twice during our time in Alaska.

The staff person checking me in seemed annoyed at having to help me. The hotel is located in an area that felt unsafe to me. One of the mattresses had a very loud, plastic waterproof mattress protector on it, which woke me up every time I moved in the night. The price was good compared to options.

The staff was very helpful and offered to go IMO 'above and beyond.' They included an early morning (24 hour) shuttle and the driver was competent and efficient.....and surprised at a tip (SHAME on all of you freeloaders!) Our room was large, clean, but very basic. It is in need of an upgrade but there is a kitchenette and they did offer breakfast (but our flight left very early.) Even though it was fully booked, it was quiet although right off a 'major' highway. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy & I am not a picky person.
