Ocean view! Fantastic Seascape Resort 1 Bedroom!

Summary:
Rare larger corner unit includes a wraparound private balcony that offers views of the garden walking path and the gorgeous ocean beyond! Located in the main building of the amenity-rich Seascape Resort in Aptos, CA. Here you are situated between both bluffs with easy access to the beach walking path & the main lodge where you find Sanderling's restaurant and the indoor and outdoor resort firepits!

The Space:
Parking is provided outside this ground-level unit. Enter to find a bedroom with queen bed and mirrored closet to hang and store your personal belongings, next to the bedroom is a full bathroom equipped with a step-in shower/tub, a sink with cabinetry, and space for personal toiletries. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, full sized dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, tea kettle and a Keurig coffee maker. The dining area includes a table with seating for 5 and the living space is perfect for gathering together to play games or watch movies on the tv above the fireplace. There is an indoor pub height table at the patio slider so you can take on view from inside or step out on to the wrap around private patio and take a seat and watch for wildlife to scurry down the walking garden path below or step out and watch the sunset over the ocean. This charming walking path just outside leads down to the ocean where you have beach access to enjoy daytime activities or even an evening fire. (wood must be purchased off site and carried down, fires can be built on the sand!) Here you will also find both an indoor and outdoor firepit if you do not wish to make your own!

Guest Access:
PROPERTY ACCESS: The property has an electronic door lock that is accessible anytime during stay. We will send out the check in instructions the day before you arrive. You can expect to receive them via your booking platform's app messaging system.

FREE AMENITIES: The North Bluff Pool and Spa; access with your guest code - we provide pool/beach towels in your unit. Use of beach and any open firepit (fires are allowed on the sand). Use of lobby round seating area at fireplace. Use of walking paths and overlook benches.
Use of the gym is available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site).

Concierge services, front desk services, towel service, access to staff operated golf carts, fitness facility, bonfire pit rentals and bike rentals are not available to private renters.

The Neighborhood:
Located just south of Santa Cruz off Highway 1, Seascape Beach Resort gorgeous accommodations overlooking the Monterey Bay.
The entire resort sits atop breathtaking bluffs overlooking the ocean and beaches below. The walking path in the center of the resort leads down to the beach.
On the resort you will find The Seascape Park, Numerous walking paths, The Sanderlings Restaurant and bar, North Bluff Pool and Spa, and a full gym (gym access with additional fee paid on-site).
Across the street from the resort you will find Seascape Village which offers restaurants, cafes and shops.
The PGA rated Seascape Golf Course is only 5 minutes from the resort.
In the Heart of Aptos just over three miles or 10 minutes drive away you will discover what happens when the redwoods meet the sea. This idyllic setting is perfect for mountain biking, hiking or exploring the historic village. In the village you will meet the lovely people of Aptos who love their town and it's visitors. Getting Around:
Complimentary parking is available outside the unit and throughout the resort property.
All on-site amenities are accessible by walking paths or if preferred by car.
To access the beach at Seascape there is a walking path next to the main lodge that leads down to the ocean where you will have beach access.
NOTE: the walk out is the same way back UP to the resort.
The Seascape Village is just across from the Resort and can be accessed by walking.
The quaint town of Aptos is just over three miles away-about a 10 minutes drive.
Capitola Village is about 8 miles away and can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes.

Other Things to Note:
There are no daily housekeeping services. The property is cleaned before arrival and after departure. We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, hand towels, bath towels, wash cloths, paper towels and toilet paper. Shampoo and body wash is provided. A cleaning kit is located under the kitchen sink for cleaning up spills or tidying up during your stay (please do not use premier towels or linens to wipe up spills).

We provide a well-stocked villa for your stay including a kitchen complete with pots, pans and dishes and utensils - everything you will need for cooking a hearty breakfast, lunch break or family dinner after a day of adventure. We supply Keurig coffee maker and pods and there is a guest supply closet by the front door with additional supplies.
Pool towels and additional bedding supplies can be found in the bedroom closets.

Concierge services, front desk services, access to staff driven golf carts are not available.

The fitness facility and bike rentals available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site).

$250 bonfire pit rentals & $75 smores packages through the front desk are not available to private renters, but you are welcome to build your own firepit in the sand (Seascape is one of the few California beaches an open fire is allowed!)- supplies can be purchased across the street at Seascape Market or any other grocery store in the area.

Pools and hot tub are accessible, access with your guest code.

NOTE: Please be aware that due to cooler climate experienced from ocean breezes, properties in Santa Cruz County, especially near the coast, typically do not have air conditioning.

Birthday getaway

This was the perfect place for us to stay to celebrate my birthday. Our family loves coming to Seascape and this rental had a gorgeous view of the ocean and all of the trees shading the path down to the beach. We were close to the pool/ spa and the trail going down to the beach which was so convenient. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We hope to stay here again soon.

Dirty, Run Down Unit

For 300-500 per night, this is a huge disappointment due to its poor condition, lack of cleanliness, old appliances and cheap furniture.It's really not a good property.* *RENT ELSEWHERE * *You've been forewarned; here are the details of our stay.The kitchenette is a badly dated, bare bones, college apartment set-up from the early 1990's. A 2 burner cook top without oven. A 3/4 dishwasher, you must run twice because it can't digest a dishwasher packet. A small refrigerator with mildewed seal that freezes the fridge and thaws the freezer.I found a coffee cup that appeared to have leftover coffee, or remnants of a potted plant. Who knows which? Bring paper towels as the 5 kitchen towels were as suspect as the dishes.The Bathroom vanity is so low I can only guess which body part I'm supposed to wash in there. The wall paper was peeled off long ago leaving wall paper texture behind. The bathroom fixtures are a mix of polished chrome, brass, dented brushed bath spout and mildewed white plastic shower head. The pocket doors have months of caked on black dust because the HVAC has no filter and the crew doesn't wipe them down. Wall texture overspray is all over the towel ring, on the mirror and shower rod. Bath towels are cheap.The bedroom only has a queen bed and cheap, old furniture.The living room furniture is garage sale quality with a collapsing coffee table and decaying red leather chairs.Have I said enough about the poor value of this 300-500/night unit?

Everything was as listed. We had to wash the windows so that we had a better view of the ocean. The 1 shared washer and dryer were in a dark and dirty spot under the stairwell. This condo had the best deck size than the other condos near us because it was on a corner and the deck wrapped around the corner.

Staycation!

We love Seascape! The unit is clean and the rental process is seamless. The view is beautiful and the balcony space is very nice. Although not technically a 'corner unit' - it does feel private. The unit is in one of the front buildings, located close to the main resort entrance. Ample parking available. Heads up for future guests, the gates at the closest pool were locked, so we had to access it through the lobby. Pool towels were not available on site, but may be requested from the front desk. The beach is a little bit of a walk down a path and worth the walk back up!!!! Great get-away and would rent this place again - 5 stars

Relaxing weekend

My family and I stayed here for a short weekend trip to Santa Cruz. The cost for amenities was reasonable, especially for being so close to the beach. We have two younger kids and the grounds are kid friendly. Listing details are accurate. Although the condo had a few warn items and kitchenette was a bit dated, everything worked fine. This condo has the necessities needed to cook breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Beach was about a quarter mile walk from condo and the condo had two beach chairs to use at the beach. This condo is on the first level, on top of garage. If your one that worries about little ones making too much noise when walking around, no worries needed in this unit. We only heard the neighbors above us a couple of times (I think they were heavy walkers), no noise from garage, over all quiet. My husband is a light sleeper and he slept well. Plenty of bed linens, towels and pillows. We will be coming back next year.

The pictures represented this property correctly.I should have googled the Seascape resort Map and I would have found the location better on Friday night after dark, but after a little searching, we found it. My wife and I enjoyed the room, proximity to the front desk, and pools. I was happy my stepson had his own space, but was envious that his pull out bed was near the fireplace and larger TV. The kitchen was great to have especially the fridge and coffee machine

Great a family with young children

We (2 adults and 2 preschoolers) spent our New Year’s Eve weekend here and had a wonderful time. We could see the ocean from the balcony. It is near a pool/jacuzzi, Sanderlings Restaurant, and the path down to the beach. There is also a playground a short walk away. The four of us slept comfortably. We did not spend a whole of time inside. If we had to stay in, it had all the essentials we need. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. We will book this place for retuning visits.

Seascape is beautiful resort. Unfortunately this unit was not. Filthy couch with stains, broken light fixture, and the stove did not work. I contacted the property manager and received no resolution. I even sent pictures. After the stay, we agreed to a credit. However, credit was not provided and property management stop answering my calls, texts, emails.

Perfect location. Nice unit. A few issues.

Wonderful resort. Great location. However, unit had ants and toilet handle broken causing toilet to ‘run’ unless the back lid taken off and chain in twisted. Dirty dishes in cupboard. Only 1 key card in lock box. Property management did not respond to my email regarding this. Unfortunately, loud neighbors and the property is very vacant at this time of year. However, the location and resort make it all worth it. Fabulous place.
