Welcome to Tiny Medlock, a charming tiny house nestled in a secure and friendly neighborhood. This cozy abode is equipped with all the essentials for a distinctive stay. The loft features a queen-size bed with ample side storage. The loveseat doubles as a comfortable sleeper for two, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Immerse in the Japanese soaking tub and unwind the day away. Conveniently located 10 minutes from the city, 5 minutes from Emory University and Decatur Emory Hospital, 7 minutes from downtown Decatur, and a short 35 minutes from the airport.
Wonderful place to stay with such welcoming hosts! Was peaceful and had everything I needed to be comfortable while I was in Georgia for a conference. Only regret is I didnât get to enjoy the outside parts as much because I was working. Which means Iâll need to make another art happen.
needed a place to stay for a few days while visiting friends, this spot was wonderful to get back to at the end of the night. small enough to be cozy but not so small that it's claustrophobic
My husband and I stayed here to attend MomoCon for the first time and it was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta, yet still a short 25 minute drive to the downtown! Nena was so sweet and very communicative; the check-in process was easy and she even made sure to be outside to greet and help us though we arrived later at night. The outdoor space was so pretty and calming, I am a farmer/gardener myself so I especially loved her beautiful garden! The indoor space was so cute, with every amenity and a surprising amount of space even though it's a tiny home! I really appreciated the Japanese soaking tub too after walking the convention floors all day lol. Overall it was a lovely stay and would recommend to those looking for a relaxing retreat :)
This property not too far from downtown Decatur is delightful. You've got plenty of privacy in a very Zen-like setting. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the whole house is full of natural light. The living area is cozy and comfortable for two people, and the bathroom has a Japanese style soaking tub. The loft sleeping area was fine for me--a 5'4" woman, but it might be a little tight for a tall man.
Tiny Medlock was a sweet refuge from the chaos and devastation of Hurricane Helene. Being able to do yoga on the front porch, walk in the neighborhood, and access easy grocery and other supplies helped tremendously, as Tiny Medlock is in a quiet neighborhood that is also centrally located. When I was able to get back to Asheville, and check on my home and family, my host was kind and amenable to my shortened visit. Thank you, Nena!
