Panoramic Ocean views welcome you to this wonderfully renovated 1275 square foot unit with vaulted ceilings throughout. Breath taking ocean views command your attention through three sets of French doors fronting an expansive patio. Relax on the 150 inch sofa while watching thousands of movies loaded into the 65 inch plasma TV or stream your own music through the sound system.

The interior designer was ingenious in cleverly integrating the new with antique to create a comfortable and inviting shabby Chic beach theme. The highest quality bedding and towels are provided to ensure your comfort for the entire stay. State of the art stainless appliances accompany the updated kitchen with all the amenities a fine home has to offer. Beautiful imported Carrera Marble surfaces both bathrooms with updated stainless fixtures for the bath and shower. The patio has two sets of barstools and bar height tables for a memorable outdoor dining experience while viewing the California coast.

A full sized Washer and Dryer and Golf Cart accompany this unit for your convenience. This units sleepy facilities are designed for comfort. We can accommodate large groups with the unit next door - please reference VRBO listing ID 412277. Together these units make up the entire top of Building four and share the expansive balcony. Building Four is centrally located above Building three and close to the pool and beach. In exchange for steps up to building four, these units both have elevated vaulted ceilings and amazing sprawling ocean views making the walk up well worth it!

We had a lovely stay at the villa and truly appreciated the thoughtful layout and ambiance. The living area was perfect for lounging, whether sipping morning coffee, enjoying cocktails and appetizers during happy hour, or settling in for a movie night. It was a great space to relax and connect.There are a few things we’d like to bring to your attention to help improve future guest experiences:‱ We had a rainstorm during our visit and found the outdoor deck unusable after the weather cleared, as the chair cushions remained soaked. Consider upgrading to all-weather seating to make the space more resilient and enjoyable year-round.‱ Upon arrival, the washer was loaded with wet towels and the dryer was running with an oversized load that never fully dried. We had to run the dryer throughout our stay to manage the towels, which wasn’t ideal.‱ The shower had visible mold. A deeper cleaning between guests would be appreciated.‱ The golf cart could use some maintenance. The golf cart’s Isinglass panels were loose and continuously fell during transit, which was both startling and potentially hazardous and the scratched front window made driving toward the sun quite hazardous. We also weren’t confident the cart had enough power to navigate the hills leading to the upper streets.Overall, we loved the villa’s charm and comfort, and with a few updates, it could be even more exceptional. Thank you for hosting us!

We had an amazing stay here! The views were incredible WOW!! We didn’t want to leave. It had everything you needed. People mentioned there’s a lot of stairs but we didn’t mind at all. Especially with the reward that awaits you with those views. We did have an issue with the golf cart at one point but the host was prompt and got it fixed immediately which we were so thankful for. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!

It was gorgeous! Clean, spacious, great view, easy to drive the golf cart to/from. The ONLY downside was the 72 stairs to get to the front door. The pool was great, the spa was great, really the only downside was the stairs.

We arrived at our unit [4-17] mid afternoon on Aug. 21st. The front door was difficult to unlock, after some push and shove managed to open the door. Upon entering the unit, we noticed a lot of derbies on the floor, mainly hair. My wife's socks picked up bunch of hair as she was walking around the unit. unit has 2 bathrooms, one of which had broken flush and wasn't working at all. As there's no air conditioning in the unit, we tried to open a couple of the windows with rusty latches with great difficulty. we found some clothing and old bedding in the closets, looked like someone else was living there while we were renting the unit. Some light fixtures were not turning on, possibly burnt out light bulbs. Too many issues with the rental unit to mention here.

The best of Catalina

The pictures do not do this unit justice. The unit itself is much larger than it appears. There was plenty of space to find a quiet spot or gather as a group. The French doors open up to breathtaking views of the property and ocean. I feels like you’re on Santorini.There are so many amenities that this property offers from croquet, golf, swimming pool, jacuzzi and fitness room. The location is amazing. You are tucked away in what feels like a more exclusive part of the island, because it is in a gated community with on site security. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Catalina.

Stunning Views & Great Amenities, But Be Mindful of a Few Quirks

Catalina Island is a paradise, so no matter where you stay, you’re in for a great time. My partner, friends, and I had an amazing three-day trip at this property, though some concerns did arise. The owner messaged me about a rental contract, which was a bit more involved than expected, but once submitted, everything was smooth. Finding the unit was tricky—the gate guard required a building number (not listed in the ad), but they helped us figure out it was Building 4. Be prepared for lots of stairs but the balcony view was worth it.The unit was great—Roku TV with free streaming, stunning glass doors overlooking the ocean, and a fantastic area. Golf-carting around the area is a must, offering a sauna, hot tub, pool, private beach, tennis & basketball courts, and more. Catalina conserves water, so there’s no fridge water filter or bottled water provided—bring your own!Bring warm clothes and blankets—no central heat, just small space heaters that short-circuited our power one night (quickly resolved by the property manager).The biggest downside—we found mice droppings on the kitchen counter, and a sealed chip bag was chewed into overnight. The manager claimed there were “no issues” due to monthly exterminations, which seemed inaccurate.Despite this, we loved our stay. The balcony view, location, and nearby activities—zip-lining, scenery, a pet cemetery, gift shops, and parasailing—made it worth it.

My family loved the home! Although, we didnt have hot water for showers, which was a bummer, but it might have to do with the water restrictions the island is on.
