We stayed for about two weeks at the property and it was a good central location for the activities we had planned during our visit. The house was clean and had everything we needed during our stay.
Great place that provided everything we needed and plenty of space. Parking was included which is a must in Baltimore.
Chuck was responsive and accommodating. Centrally located and safe. Will stay there again! Thanks Chuck!
Chuck's Mount Vernon home made our visit to Baltimore feel like home away from home. We were able to relax (even in the city, which usually makes these country bumpkins feel uneasy ;), there were plenty of beds, the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with functional items that allowed us to make meals with ease, and the assigned parking relieved the stress of having to find public parking. We couldn't be thankful enough for the wonderful accommodations and Chuck's quick responses to our questions. We wouldn't hesitate to book this home again if we come back to Baltimore.
We live in Baltimore but needed a place to stay during a large home repair. This home was an absolute dream come true. We were able to work and have the kids continue their online schooling due to the very generous spaces and great layout. The kitchen was well appointed and we all slept well each night. The owners were very responsive and kind. We loved Babyâs on Fire, a charming record store/coffee shop around the corner and we cherished our two block walk to the most beautiful square in Baltimore.

Wonderful Experience in Baltimore
We were in Baltimore dropping off our son off at college and also wanted to see Baltimore. Chuck could not have been more accomodating. Having water in the refridgerator was a nice touch and greatly appreciated after a long drive from Chicago.
The location was perfect for our first trip to Baltimore. Mount Vernon is studded with wonderful restaurants that are with in walking distance from the apartment. We recommend The Helmand and the Marie Louise Bistro on Charles Street. For breakfast Miss Shirleys Cafe cannot be beat and Koco's Pub has the best crab cakes we have ever had. Cermony Coffee Roasters on Park Avenue has great coffee and light breakfasts. The location is centrally located and is easy to drive to and from. The Inner Harbor and the university were easy drives. The parking in the rear lot was great and certainly improved our stay.
The apartment was great for our family of five. It is large, well taken care of, and provided us with the room each of us needed after a long day at the university or sight seeing. The beds are extremely comfortable and it was easy to get a good night sleep.
It was especially nice for my wife and I to sleep in the lower level - separated from our three boys. We were able to go to sleep when we wanted to and our sons when they wanted to.
One day we walked to Pennsylvania Station and took the train to and from Washington DC. It was a short hour train ride to DC and we had a wonderful time walking around our capital.
We highly recommend staying at this apartment and would certainly stay here again.
We booked this unit for myself and 2 work colleagues, but in the end there were only 2 of us for this 5-day stay. We loved the Clifford House, and would definitely stay here again. The unit was exactly as advertised, was easy to access, and was very well appointed and stocked with basic necessities. Chuck was available whenever I had a question, or comment re: our arrival time, and this was a very pleasant visit. Easy access to the waterfront and the convention center via uber, or the free Purple bus just a block away. Thanks again for a great stay!!!
Our group of six colleagues traveling to a conference together had a lovely stay at the Clifford House. It's located in a quiet, safe neighborhood not far from downtown; we were about a half-hour's walk or $6 taxi ride from the convention center. Having keyless entry from both the front and back doors was very convenient for our large group. We used the parking space out back, and Chuck was able to arrange off-street parking for an additional car as well.
The apartment is HUGE. There were six of us, and five private sleeping areas, plus a few other living areas. Sleeping 10 would not be an exaggeration! My bed (the king downstairs) was extremely comfortable. I heard glowing praise for the futon in the back room on the upper floor, but the futon in the king bedroom was not as well-reviewed.
Throughout the house, everything was clean and appeared to be in excellent condition. We didn't do much cooking, but found what we needed in the kitchen. There were toiletries on offer in the bathroom, fluffy towels, and nice linens.
It would have been helpful to have a page of house instructions -- Chuck was extremely responsive to our questions, but we wouldn't have needed to bother him if the wifi password, departure information, etc had been found in the house.
Staying here was a highlight of our time in Baltimore. Thanks so much for making it available! We would definitely come again.
