Hotel is very nice. A little surprising that our room 311 is on the 4th floor. HVAC system in room has a loud rattling sound while running :(

There was construction literally on the other side of our window (we could have touched hands through the glass), with workers up early and active. We couldn't open our blinds otherwise it would have been super awkward! The food was mediocre at best at the restaurant, yet the ambiance was nice on the deck. The best thing about this hotel, was that the bed was super comfortable

Golden Bay Belize was a comfortable hotel inside, with a convenient supplies store, a restaurant and coffee shop. Coffee and toiletries are also supplied with the room and the room size, layout and fixtures were good. My main issue is the construction currently occurring - I could not open my window curtains as I was looking directly at the men working. Also, I found the dining options within the city much better and more affordable than those immediately within the hotel's environment. The hotel is within walking distance from the Belize Museum which was a good place to visit and I am sure there were other sights but I did not stay long enough to explore further
