Rooms are still good but ready for minor updates due to wear. Free wifi is very poor. Free breakfast was good but limited to biscuits and gravy, sausage, french toast sticks, yogurt, grits, a few sliced up fruit offerings. Work out facilities only included two treadmills, two elipticals, a set of dumb bells, exercise balls, and an old universal with very limited attachments.

Great place to stay

Hotel is very clean but you need to ask for maid service if needed. Rooms are clean, bed is very comfortable, and breakfast is good but very busy place. Great place to stay. I'll be back.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Branson and were disappointed with the experience. The building feels very outdated, and the lobby had a strong smoke smell despite the hotel being advertised as non-smoking. In our first room, the A/C wasn’t working, so we had to be moved to another room. On top of that, our key cards repeatedly stopped working, which meant making several inconvenient trips back down to the front desk to have them replaced. Overall, the stay was frustrating and didn’t meet expectations.

We had two rooms, one the AC worked okay, the other was 80+ degrees no matter what you did. The toilets had to be flushed multiple times no matter what. Constantly bombarded with “not a time share” pitch. Will not stay here again.

The bed was great, We didn’t eat at the property. The first room had black mold in it, the second room they moved us to was a suite and actually it was in worse shape than the first. Finally put us in a room at the end of the hotel it was acceptable but no shower curtain when we got there,but they did install one while we went to eat. For a thousand hills property it was not good. We love thousand hills but not this place.

My only complaints are... 1. Puke under my bed. I didn't see it until we were leaving. 2. Hallways and elevators were way too hot. 3. We waited quite awhile for someone to take our order at Jack Henry's after being seated. To the point we were about to walk out. Once we got waited on our waiter was great and the food was good!

We had a king suite and the top part of freezer was frozen over, the knob to open the door to access the refrigerator is missing. We had to call housekeeping to get lotion and kleenex. The lotion had been opened and the guy at the front desk guy informed me that they were running out of the lotion, so they just leave whatever is there... there. There were only 2 kleenexes in the box. To open the front door to go back out into the hall is extremely hard to do. You have to push the handle down fast and hard or it won't open. Now, about that restaurant, Jack Henry. We went in at 4:30 pm (they opened at 4pm), and service was pretty much nonexistent. It was not busy at all, and took at least 10 minute's after being seated for a waitress to show up. Prior to that it took about 5 minute's for the hostess to show up to seat us, as the girl up front at the desk, said that's who seats people. At dinnertime the next night, hostess sat us in an area where that waitress had a 14 top table service, so after 15 minute's, i had to do self service, by going up to the bar ordering our drinks and food (food was delicious). The other waitress never came over. She was way too busy with more people showing up to her table intermittently. Breakfast crew is good and keeps everything on the buffet stocked. No waiting there. Pool was nice but can get crowded.

A/c issues

The service was good up til we got to the room and the a/c in the room was not functioning and when I called the desk they said they would send up maintenance but no one came. So we sweated through it and accepted our loss.

The bed comfort was the only thing that was good. The hotel check in staff were pushy and rude. The overall feel of the hotel was run down. No a/c in the hallways, dirty, furniture mismatched, 1 community microwave for the whole floor, and mold in the bathrooms. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at!!!!
