Hotel was a gem. Located a short walk from everything. Our room was charming and comfortable. The bed was lux.
Some of the desk staff came across as aloof but that didn’t dampen our delight at the view we had from our window-the beautiful canal.
The walls of the hotel are hundreds of years old and a foot thick allowing one to open the windows and sit in the sill and sip wine while watching the ducks float by.
Breakfast was expansive and delicious-well worth the $20 per person.

We really enjoyed our second stay at Ter Bruges. The staff are excellent. We received a warm welcome. The hotel felt very Christmassy, the breakfast was very good, the rooms clean and the bedding fresh.
No complaints at all. Thank you to the hotel for an enjoyable stay.

The room here was nice and the staff generally pleasant. One concern for older folks like us is that there is no elevator in this hotel and we were given a room on the third floor (second story for Europeans). So we had to drag our baggage up two flights of sharply inclined stairs. Another issue, especially during the holiday season, is that there is no parking on site - the closest was in the t Zand parking about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Finally, being an old building, the walls are paper thin and you can easily hear people in the neighboring rooms. The hotel is conveniently located to the Old Town center and the breakfast is great.

The hotel was charming and authentic. The common areas were a great place to gather and have a drink, after exploring all day. The breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were comfortable and inviting, and there was a daily cleaning service that you don't often find in hotels any more. I can't say enough good things about the staff! Helpful, delightful people! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Brugges!

Posted Dec. 15, 2023 on HotelsWonderful, charming hotel located very central to all the sites. Breakfast was excellent choice of fresh baked breads & pastries, eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, cheese, cereal, yogurt.
Highly recommend!!

I loved the hotel & room. Very quaint, clean & authentic.The beds were so comfortable & I loved the smell as you entered your room. The toiletries supplied were Rituals, a lovely touch.
