The good: Check in was quick and efficient, the king bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The not so good: room cleanliness left much to be desired. Hard surfaces were ok but every grill was coated with dust including the fireplace which did not work. There was an exhaust smell coming from the hallway which had higher air pressure than the room thus constantly pushing air in around the door. Breakfast choices were very limited especially for healthy options. Actually went out for breakfast on the second day. The staff in the breakfast room were obviously not happy with their job. Water pressure was very weak as it took 15 minutes to fill the jacuzzi tub passed the jets.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Pocaterra Inn & Waterslide. We had a beautiful room with a fantastic view of the Rockies from our large balcony. It was very well kept and the kids had a blast at the pool. Loved that they provided life jackets since we forgot to bring ours. As an added bonus the room had hard wood floors which just made the space feel so clean. We stayed 5 nights with no complaints. Enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning as well.

Probably one of the best hotel breakfast’s around ! Also appreciate that the room had no carpet as I often get allergies, and the place was well cleaned with Rocky Mountain soap products to use :)

I was supposed to come with a friend, but she didn’t end up making it so I asked to upgrade my double queen room to a king size bed and they did that with no charge and no problem and the room was amazing. Huge bathroom, walkout balcony spacious room, comfortable chairs, and at the end of the hall, which is nice and quiet. The front desk staff was amazing and even called an hour later to see how everything was. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was ok….there is construction going on across the street so the view was a giant crane. Fast food places beside so that’s convenient. Short distance to town with shops and restaurants which would be walkable. Short distance to the highway. Lots of kids and the noice from unit above could be heard ie sliding chairs. We went for breakfast on our first day and every table was full so we left and went to McDonald’s. Overall it was fine for a place to stay to lay your head. The room wasn’t in great condition but it was clean. Would not stay again

Pleasant stay close to Banff with waterslide pool and fair breakfast inclusive that is worth before hoping out in the morning, spacious rooms and clean. Tims, Wendys and McD are next doors, other dine in options are walkable about 1Km . Cons: A bit to walk down from bus stop point (especially if you are carrying a baggage), else walkable. Cutleries and kettle could be kept already in the suites, provided there is a microwave (but they were provided on request, so just a suggestion).

The Pocaterra is a decent hotel, especially for families with children. The water slide and pool were in constant use. But the hotel is starting to look “worn”. The things you look for-clean, comfy beds, clean sink and shower, plenty of towels, heating in the room- are all there. But the place needs a deep clean- walls washed, rooms painted, sink drains and plugs cleaned, carpets vacuumed, proper caulking around back-splashes and toilets, handrails scrubbed-the things that would make it look well cared for. The staff were friendly, very helpful and accommodating; the breakfasts were fine, and the chocolate chip cookies available in the lobby during check-in were very good. I would still recommend Pocaterra, as it is convenient and reasonably priced.

Viajamos en familia, en la habitacion mi hijo y yo dormimos en un sofa cama tamano queen que fue una real pesadilla, podiamos sentir los fierros de la estructura en nuestra espalda y se hacia un hoyo al centro que hacia que nos deslizaramos, era nuestra ultima parada de un viaje largo, estabamos cansados y no dormimos nada esa noche, tambien en la habitacion cada cierto rato se escuchaba un sonido horrible que podria haver sido alguna tuberia aunque no estoy segura, pero era como el somido de Chuwbaca de star wars. Salvo por estas dos observaciones lo demas estuvo muy bien.
