This 3-star Charleston bed & breakfast is smoke free.
The location was perfect and the walks to get to all the activities/restaurants were beautiful. The hotel does not have many amenities but that didn't matter to us. The historic mansion was an incredible add to our stay in Charleston. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Breakfasts were fine, but somewhat limited in options. Parking was extremely convenient, as we were able to park right outside the property every day we were there. Location was great. We were able to walk to great dining experiences and the park across the street was a great place to sit and chat. The top floor reading area was also a great place to relax.
Loved the charm, location and amenities of this place. Across from Battery Park in a large neighborhood of stunning historic homes and maybe a half mile from the commercial district. Staff was awesome.
Beautiful property, spotless room, sweetest staff, and great location on the Battery. Loved the option to have daily breakfast in our room. My favorite part was enjoying the rocking chair on the beautiful evenings on the large porch. Would absolutely go back!!
If you are looking for a place to stay and experience the history of Charleston, i highly recommend this special place. Furnished in period antiques and featuring carefully restored and maintained rooms, but with a few modern upgrades, this home is fantastic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a wonderful visit.
Getting to stay in this very old historic place full of amazing antiques and history was amazing. Staff was top of the line. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Sheets luxurious, historic house so interesting, sitting on sunny veranda perfect, breakfast served in our room wonderful. Molly gave us a great tour and recommendations on things to do, which we might not have found on our own. Loved this hotel.
Very comfortable bed. Beautiful and comfortable linens. Ambience lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hard to darken room for sleeping. No coffee or microwave in room. Little to no storage. No surface in bathroom for toiletries.
We did not have a pet. The staff was helpful and anticipated our questions and needs. The home dated back to 1853 and in one of the most historic sites. We would revisit.
Beautiful historic boutique hotel with all the southern charms. Comfortable, clean with some nice extra touches like free water and brekky. Also free parking across the street and right near the waterfront. Within walking distance of King Street and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
