Enjoyed our stay!

The cottage is as advertised and offers a nice location with privacy. We enjoyed the true beach cottage feel and found the beds and kitchen met our needs. We rode our bikes to the beach access or pool each day which only took a a couple of minutes. Communication with the owner was excellent through the entire process.

Enjoyed the property. Exterior lighting was lacking on the steps leading to front door. All solar lights were not working. Had to use flashlights at nighttime.

Kiawah Island Stay

We stayed at this property for the Kiawah Island marathon weekend and a few days after. It was a great location very close to the start/finish line at the West Beach conference center. Easy beach access. Location was clean and accommodating. The only points of feedback would be that the guest bath sink was slow to drain, and the tv was not super easy to operate, but overall we had a terrific stay. I will stay at this property again and recommend to others!

Great Vacation

The house and furnishings was comfortable. The pathway to the beach was pretty much shaded which made it comfortable to walk. The beach was fantastic for me because the sand was firm and easy to walk on. We would stay here again. Loved it.

Wonderful

The Sparrow Pond Cottages on Kiawah Island are just lovely. Clean, plenty of room, great wi-fi access, great management. Close walk to the beach, quiet, in a wooded park-like setting. We had everything we needed with easy access to so many wonderful places to visit. The area is full of history and gardens - with a lot more diversity than we learned in school! Many places drove us to dive deeper into learning more. Great place to stay.

Lovely Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage on Kiawah Island. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Loved the glassed in porch. We enjoyed biking around the island. The beach and pool were a short walk away. Susie, the property manager, was very helpful and the check in process was super easy. It was a great vacation!

Great quiet get away

My wife, my in-laws and I needed to be in Charleston for a week and a half for my wife to have surgery. The hotel we booked ended up being filthy and we found this rental a bit further from the hospital but with a great set-up for our stay. Susie did a fantastic job making sure we had everything we needed for a fast check-in. The house was super peaceful and a short walk to the beach. The beach was gorgeous and allowed for everyone to decompress and my wife to recover. We weren’t here for vacation, but it sure felt like one. I was able to work from the house and things like groceries were convenient and easy to find. We will almost certainly be back.

We will definitely rent here again. The only change next time would like to have to have 2 dbl beds instead of twn beds for 1 of the BR's anda shorter distance to walk to & from he beach. We are already talking about going back next year.

West Beach - A Winner!

This Sparrow Pond cottage was our introduction to Kiawah Island and we weren't disappointed. The cottage was roomy, clean, well lit, had comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen. The furniture style was dated, but very comfortable. Cycling on the beach was exhilarating! (my husband is 80 and I'm 78) Susie, the property manager, was terrific! Her quick responses to our questions and the clear paperwork that was emailed to us helped to create a very relaxing vacation.. We would love to return to the area. JR

Perfect getaway in crazy times

Great location on quiet end of island, easy 2 mile bike ride to the Sanctuary, excellent communication with property manager, stocked with everything you could need. Wifi worked great for our virtual schooling needs. We had a great stay and look forward to our next visit!

Perfect for Us

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Susie was awesome to work with and very timely responding to any questions we had. We also loved the location, community pool, and short bike ride to the beach. Also, you can walk to Cougar Point to play golf! Awesome.
