This property is situated in an excellent location in the Mount Pleasant area. If you have a car, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, Shems creek are all within a 5-15 minute drive. There is a shuttle that will drop you off in downtown Charleston for a day in the city. The property was fairly clean overall, but certain things are very dated. It could use a “freshen “ up in some areas. The outdoor areas were really enjoyable! Nice clean pools and fireplaces right on the water. Due to the excellent location I would definitely stay again! But a little sprucing up would really take this hotel to the next level!

Resort is an unexpected gem. Staff was phenomenal especially Shawnna at the Marina Store (free ice cream daily plus she is a sweetheart!), the night time manager Noah and front desk Andrew exceptionally helpful. Huge plus was the outdoor heated pool and free shuttle into and from Charleston historic district.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a problem with the HVAC in our room and they immediately upgraded us and moved us into a new room. The resort is beautiful and its a great location from which to explore Charleston.

The grounds are on a beautiful property. We didn't get to enjoy the pool because of the chilly weather. The staff was accommodating but not overly friendly. I was a bit surprised that Harborside wasn't closer to downtown Charleston, but it wasn't an issue because the Shuttle runs once an hour. We at Breakfast at the Fish House ( I think that was the name) which is on the property. I would give that 2 stars. The food just wasn't great. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a beautiful view of the harbor and the pool. My only complaint was the overall maintenance. The room looked like my 12 year old painted it. Paint on the outlet covers, the vanity in the bath was two different colors of white. It just gave an overall appearance of sloppy and not maintained well.
