Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties.

Welcome to Salty Shack B! This 2 BR/1 BATH unit sleeps 5 and is located across the street from the beach, as well as within walking distance to the heart of Folly Beach. It features an open floor plan that includes the kitchen, dining and living spaces, perfect for entertaining family or friends! This unit shares an adjoining door with unit A and can be rented together to make 4BR/2BA.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 5 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

Convenient location walking distance from beach access, restaurants, and shopping. Apartment is spacious and has everything you could need. Outdoor shower available to rinse off after your day at the beach.

Most convenient stay in Folly!

I visit Folly at least once/year and this is the MOST convenient spot I have stayed. One block away from public beach access, Bert’s Market, great food like Chico Feo, and all of Center Street! There is even a Starbucks in a hotel right across the street. You could bring nothing but a bathing suit and a beach chair and stay here comfortably for days. Best bonuses were comfy patio furniture with umbrella, silent washer/dryer, outdoor shower and a parking spot!The inside was very clean, comfortable and functional. Management was easy to contact and sooo nice.Nitpicks are poor lighting. The eating area has a fluorescent drug-store style light, which was sad and dim when cousins came over for lunch. And mud plus excessive garbage cans in front of the unit made it gross when we loaded our cars on a Wednesday.Easy remedies, and would enjoy staying here again.

Great get away!

Location, Location, Location!!!! Steps from the beach and all places Center Street. Parked and didn’t move our vehicle until checkout. You can walk anywhere to need to go! Clean, quiet and soooo much larger than we thought. We will definitely be back!!!

Convenient location close to the beach.

The location is very close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Park your car and you won't need it for the remainder of your trip. All of the necessities are provided but you won't find extras like beach towels, chairs, etc but for the price and location it is a great value.

Great location on Folly!

We really enjoyed this rental! The property was super clean and very spacious. It was unseasonably cool the week we were on Folly but we appreciated that even when it was too chilly/windy on the beach, it was nice and toasty on the front porch. The location was pretty much as close to the beach as possible without being literally ocean-front, but it was also very close to Center St. so near restaurants etc. Ideal!The only downside is that the shared wall with Unit A (same building/other half of the downstairs) is pretty thin. I know both units have a noise monitor for loud music etc., but our neighbors had a toddler who we could hear crying/screaming when we were sitting in the living room. It didn't interfere with our sleep or anything so not a big deal.Overall I would say I would definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Folly

We had a nice little family getaway with our newborn. The house was clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants etc. The convenience store around the corner was perfect for lunches, wine, ice cream etc. We will definitely be back!

We loved the open space, the proximity to everything Folly and the spacious bedrooms.We felt the bathroom needed an update and two bathrooms would have been nice. The tub should have some handles for a short person or someone older who has balance issues.Also , I personally could not reach the dryer so a stool would be great.

Clean and great location

Very clean well stocked and great neighborhood very close to Beach and Pier
 had terrific time walking to local shops and restaurants. Amazing vibe in the entire neighborhood. Great communication from the renting management group. Only thing that was a problem was that we were the downstairs unit on the right and there is an adjoining door to the other apartment downstairs where we could hear every single thing people were saying who were also very noisy playing music and their television very loud. Not completely their fault
due to the door not being very soundproof. Other than that, we had a wonderful time if the neighbors weren’t loud and we could hear them we would’ve had a fabulous time.

Easy check in process and very clean!

Loved this place! Very roomy and very clean; fresh towels were folded on the ends of the beds, very accommodating! (the only little thing I noticed was the cover for the fan in the bathroom ceiling was pretty dusty, but this place was really clean otherwise). Communication was outstanding, they were on top of things and gave us great information reference everything we needed to know. And everything is within walking distance, you won’t really need your car after you arrive. I recommend it!

Excellent location steps from the beach and steps from Center St. Perfect size for our group for our girls’ weekend. Bonus was having some beach equipment that we could use like takami mats. Manager super responsive and checked in several times to make sure everything was in order. Would stay here again.

Great location!

Check-in was a breeze, unit was very spacious. Location was close to the beach, one block from the main street with restaurants, and one block from Bert’s. Beds and shower were great, but living room furniture smelled a little like dogs, which i guess you’re going to get in a dog-friendly place. We had a comfortable stay. A hairdryer would be helpful.
