The Neighborhood:
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charlestonâs classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops â including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques â as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
Walking around is one of the joys of visiting Charleston, many restaurants and attractions are within walking distance. The more historic areas are easy to get to via Uber or Lyft or CARTA buses, which have a stop two driveways away. For those that are more adventurous, bike rentals are available through Holy Spokes (make sure to follow the rules of the road).

The location was amazing can walk everywhere. The studio was very clean and parking was a big plus.I do recommend mentioning the stairs that you must climb to get to the studio. People of a certain age or those with heavy luggage could find them very challenging.Other than that highly recommend!
The space was adequate but lacked the typical comforts of other rentals we've stayed at. For one, the blowdryer didn't work properly however David did replace it quickly which was nice. The coffee maker didn't work either and when I notified David he asked if I wanted a replacement. He should have just sent a replacement rather than ask if I wanted him to. I wouldn't have told him it didn't work if I didn't want a replacement. The bathroom sink was awful, hardly any water came out of it, and the shower was just as bad. We ran out of tp by the second to last day and there wasn't any more that I could find in the apartment. Overall I would say the apartment was subpar and lacked the normal comforts of other rentals I've stayed at in the past.
David was very welcoming. We loved the amenities. The kitchen had all the utensils, dishware, etc. that we needed. I also really appreciated the filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator. Also, the bathroom was fully stocked with everything we needed.
Great communication from the host all around. Clear check in and check out instructions were given in a very timely manner. Apartment is well stocked with everything we could need for our stay and the bed was very comfortable and provided my wife and I some very good sleep. Apartment is a short walk from King St. where you can shop and take your pick of many different restaurants.
The Host was extremely welcoming and available as needed. They responded timely to all of my questions. The property amenities were complete and exactly as described in the listing.
